Never had something like this happen before. Great paint, applies well and good coverage, but in this one instance, very poor customer experience. Painted the exterior of my house this summer, was referred to this store by a friend. Friendly and helpful advice on the details, but on the second order of paint I discovered a bad drum of base coat which had particulate in it when I went to stir, likely due to a compromised seal. I called and one of the guys I had been working with said to just bring it in and they would have a look. When I got to the store, what appeared to be a young trainee and a senior man who appeared very bothered took the drum in the back, opened it up, and told me it was bubbles. Having painted a number of houses and knowing the difference I pushed back and showed him the difference between particles and bubbles. He then said I should then have just strained the paint. But not willing to do that, he said he would shake the paint some more but that was it. When I got the drum home the particulate was smaller and more pervasive. So I ended up having to strain the paint, but still had to deal with fine particles. Having been a small businessman in customer service most of my life, I was saddened to note this grumpy old man’s responses and gaslighting to my problem, as well as his poor attitude on the young man who had to work with him.
Dear Store Owner, Thank you for your response to my review. This one experience has not been typical of past experiences. Everyone else had been very helpful and I will continue to do business with Miller Paint in Tigard. Turns out one cannot connect with you through the Google portal, however, if you would like to connect directly you should have my contact information in your database.

I am very upset, I asked the person for cheap semi gloss white paint 4 times he never listened to me. He gave me high end premium paint, with no returns on paint "the store policy". What a rip off.I am only painting over existing white just wanted to freshen up the walls is what I told him numerous times as I said the man does not listen.I guess I should have gone elsewhere.

Went to this location to get a Miller paint fan deck. Friendly personnel and also has a lot of useful items laid out. I started thinking of my next projects, and will be back.
