“I do not know English, I write through a translator. I came here to get money, I was served by Vanessa. Despite the fact that I do not know the English language, everything was fine, I am satisfied!”

“I am rather old and have a hard time shopping by myself, It's hard for me to talk to people because I have a bad lisp. I had came in to get some strawberries since they were on sale and I couldn't find them. A young man working there noticed I needed help and he was very kind and patient with me. He apologized for not having the strawberries in the display, he went into the back and carried back 3 cases in his arm and even looked through and got me the best looking ones! He was very caring and understanding and made me feel as if I didn't have a lisp at all. He made me feel so welcome I had my son help me make this account and download this app or whatever you call it. believe his name was Joey in the fruits and vegetables section. if you see this thank you very much!”

“CoinStar has been my secret ally when those dark days occur with no money. Empty purse, empty pockets means it's time to grab that quart-sized Ziploc bag & dump all the household change into it & don't forget to flip those couch & recliner cushions for the gold. I can discreetly enter the supermarket & head right over to my sweet CoinStar machine, who' s always happy to see me too. The cost to use CoinStar is minimal, if you want exact amount, check their website, or wait until you arrive & CoinStar will display the amount charged. It's under one dollar & over a dime.”

“It must because the population is aging or something but it seems like there is a drug store on every corner these days. Used to be there was only one for an entire neighborhood, if that. This one is pretty much the same as every other cookie cutter rite-aid, Walgreens, what have you. Nothing you can't find for less money at a Walmart. This place happens to be handy for me although I don't use the pharmacy since I am a VA client. But if you're looking for the sort of stuff you'd find at a Rite-aid and don't feel like saving money at Wallyworld you'll likely find it here. Or just up the street at Walgreens, CVS, Pharmaca, Freddys, Safeway, Albertsons... you get the idea. I'm not big in supporting these impersonal franchise outfits since I strongly prefer to support local mom and pop businesses that contribute to the community and local economy. But it is what it is these days. The small business owner has been pushed out. The review is five stars because there's nothing much to complain about here. It's not the franchise owner's fault that Rite-aid corporate shoved out the small local drug store that used to be here.... long, long ago since there was no local drug store in Cedar Mill for as far back as I can remember. I guess maybe when Bales had a small pharmacy? UPDATE: The bot response from Rite-aid posted below is a glowing example of what I am talking about. Impersonal, Corporate cookie cutter, one size fits all, gratuitous "apologies" by some drone who clearly could care less how I (or you) feel about anything. It's interesting that this dunce, who clearly never took the time to actually read my review, would post and tell even more accurately than I just did why these Corporate outfits that are pushing out local mom and Pop businesses are so fundamentally evil. Gee, we're soooo sorry you had a [select one] problem, bad experience, mishap, heart attack, none_of_the_above at our store. We are soooooo sorry. Please contact us on twitter (yeah, right) and we will promptly ignore everything you say and will spam you into the second coming once we get your contact information. Have a nice day! Thanks "Pam" in India or where ever your offshore boiler room is. I couldn't have said it better myself.”

“This is my favorite Safeway, it actually lives up to the name! I call the one in NE Broadway and SW Jefferson, Un-Safeway, because you have to step over people to get in, are often accosted, and watch people stealing on a regular basis. This Safeway has none of those issues and for that alone, it made my shopping experience so pleasant. The store is much smaller than others, but for me, I always prefer a smaller footprint as it makes it easier to shop the perimeters which is where the healthy food is located. It's bright, clean, well stocked. The Meat Department definitely has less options but in the other areas, I found what I needed. Beautiful organic produce, lovely flowers, a Pharmacy in the back, a Starbucks when you enter - all the usual suspects. Plenty of covered parking underneath. Easy access to I-5. This will be my go to when I need to run out for an item I forgot and don't want to deal with SW Jefferson. It's just a little further but totally worth it for a safe and pleasant shopping experience.”

“I've gone here twice. Both times they were helpful. Only one person working, but I was the only one in the joint. I'd give them a try, I had no issues and think they were pretty solid for the Moneygram I had to send (and then get refunded).”

“It's a pretty good store they have the a lot of your basic cooking needs if you find yourself in a tight bind live in the area and don't want to go all the way down 2 Division or WinCo. As far as the bad reviews Mill Park is no Gem of a neighborhood I've lived here for 10 years and it's steadily getting worse you can thank meth for that. As far as paraphernalia goes what Mom and Market doesn't have it if you don't want to see that stuff close your eyes or go to a chain Market it's not like they're pushing it like a car salesman tries to sell you a car if that's something you're into they have it as an option they try to keep things that the neighborhood like it or not spends money on. . As far as prices go not the best bargain in the world but not as high as some of your chain markets”

“Sally is a wonderful person and her service is exceptional. I only go there in emergency situations and always pay it back within 72 hours as not to incur interest. Sally is a representative of the loaning institution. If you're a customer, you're the one needing assistance. It's not Sally's job to make it easy for you to get a loan, and be your friend. She is a professional. Keep up the good work and thank you for providing a resource for needed funds.”

“Very good shipping service, they arrive perfectly well, but it takes almost a month, and the store on 122 and Stark has terrible customer service, terrible, terrible, they are not friendly at all, dial and dial one to number You never answer the phone to get information, since one lives very far away and you don't just turn around like a fool,”

“I always have some problem when I come into this Pharmacy (my doctor sending to wrong pharmacy or me making appts at the wrong pharmacy for flu shot appt) and they always help me out anyways, and with a smile on their face.”

“This place has bailed me out a couple of times with a small payday loan to pay bills. I have two sick elderly dogs and sometimes they need immediate care which is always more expensive. The people who work here are nice to everyone and there are some really suspect people that come in. I commend them for dealing with them with dignity and kindness.”

“This Safeway is barely hanging on and can't thank the workers enough for keeping it open. The neighborhood is rough and there are security personnel, which helps shopping. It seems like a smaller Safeway, but has a pharmacy, bakery, deli and a Starbucks too!”

“Wow! Visited the pharmacy today, was very anxious, as I had not been inside a drug store since this all began. Everyone was following proper protocol, both staff and customers. The store is super clean and the staff at the front was extremely friendly! Amelia, the pharmacist, was absolutely a pleasure to be in the presence of. She has worked as a pharmacist for 16 years, was very compassionate and genuinely nice. The pharmacist tech, brown haired girl (I wish I had gotten her name, as well), was sooo sweet and knowledgeable.”

“Johnson Creek Fred Meyers is a great store! honestly I know most of the people that work there and they go out of their way to make sure the customers have a wonderful shopping experience! especially the home department, they make sure that the customers leave wanting to return and bring family and friends alike. There are those few people that would complain just to hear themselves rant but other than that the store works tirelessly to make people feel welcomed There are some of the employees that will go above and beyond to make sure the people get what they came for or means to obtain it even if it's calling around to other Fred Meyer stores to find what is being sought after. So I'll be the first one to give the best feedback about that store over many other Fred Meyer stores it's hands down one of the best!”

“Was in Postal Place today while doing TSA Pre Check next door. They helped me renew my passport (expedited), filled out all the paperwork and took care of everything quickly. Couldn't have asked for nicer or more efficient people. Great place!”

“I'm from out of town and needed a nearby pharmacy to pick up a prescription my PCP wrote at the last minute this morning. I saw a low a Yelp score here and was concerned reading the comments, but this was the closest pharmacy so went anyway. I had a good experience so wanted to balance out the 1-star reviews. Grace was the pharmacy tech who assisted me. She was quick, friendly, and informative. The store itself was very clean and spacious. No complaints from me!”

“The owners are very kind, personable folks. The neighborhood is very lucky to have you guys smack dab in the middle; you really can't beat the location. And you DEFINITELY can't beat a hot pizza (very delicious might I add), warm salted pretzel, and freshly made bubble tea made to order (they have basically a million flavors!), etc etc etc..... they have a ton of hot food to choose from, everything I've tried has been really freakin good!If you haven't been here, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit! They have a great selection of pretty much anything your little Portlander heart may desire.Support local, family owned businesses always!”

“I've had a mailbox at this very small family business for 15 years. Some of the complaints in the other reviews are quite valid, but for location and price, it suits my needs. The proprietor suffered a huge loss this year, so I am rather sympathetic and tolerant of the erratic hours, and hope things get better soon.”

“This has been my go-to Walgreens for the 20 years Ive lived in Portland (not Portland more like the greater Portland area but you get the gist of things). Anyway I walk and this tall block of meat named Dennis or something asks me to leave cause Im not adhibiting to dress code. I say no way Jose and next thing I know Im backwards roller blading down 32nd street with hand in a bind wearing what I can only describe as a little girls forgotten set of soccer shorts. I get to the. bottom and backwater Dennis offers me one last chance to turn around, I say id rather be dead so I make a break for it. Long story short I got my cliff bars but It was at the cost of my innocence and "the triplets" if you know what I mean. All in all not a bad trip but I could've used more manners from the boys in blue. Hopefully ill see you all tomorrow”

“This Safeway does have long lines but the staff is nice and helpful. I see other customers complaining and not appreciating the employees that did show up for work and with positive attitudes. Also I'm not sure if other customers know this but your cashier did not make up the prices and it's not the staffs fault you can't use your own phone.”
