“I live on the same block and have been coming here for years... Best bodega I've ever seen. Clean, and recently remodeled, Friendly efficient staff, and more of them because they're expanding (congrats!).Repeat great selections throughout the store. Beer has a great spread of old reliables, tons of (esp local) fancier beers, and even a cooler with wild stuff in it... *This bottle took monks 20 years to make* $15! Don't know wine well myself, but their selection looks big enough to need browsing for a few minutes. All the ordinary convenience store stuff is there of course. And then! They've got staples like I've never seen before! Trying to make bread and the yeast from 1997 is dead? They have yeast packets and jars for pete's sake... Rice, stocks, baking powder/soda, flour, selection of sugars, tuna, *capers*, tortillas and taco shells, some decent mustards... It goes on like that. This place has saved my a#$ in the middle of a recipe multiple times!Oh dang even a case with some good Boar's Head stuff like meats and cheese, pickles, various dairy products not just a jug of milk, eggs, etc...I could go on and on, just come here if you're anywhere in North Portland... Buy local, support families, make jobs, have a beer... ?”
“This store has a great selection of vegan foods and other items. I had fun finding so many treats and staples in one place! We also enjoyed their pizza and an amazing peanut butter cup shake. The owner was so nice and welcoming and helped me find things. Can't wait to go back!”

“Snack Store, packaged and jarred goods and Beyond.Strawberry Jam is simple, delicious and has Strawberries. Liquid sugar(water and sugar), sugar, lemon juice and Pectin. All natural.Problem with store is the amount of packaging, packaging for fruits and vegetables. That said, the reasoning is to reduce spoilage.Easy to shop, good layout, you can grab wine box at the end to reuse as your box to use for groceries.All staff in the store have great gusto and positive character.”

“This place is great! They have everything but I like them most because they have the best selection of cheeses (at reasonable prices) that I'm aware of. It's a fine place for daily groceries but a must for any party snacks shopping (meats, cheeses, crackers, veggies), it's just so much better than anywhere for those things. “Growers Outlet is the place to shop for produce! They have a section designated for sauces, salsas, and canned/jarred goods and a delightful bakery, and grains section. There is a small dairy section.They do sell plants at certain times of the year. During the summer they carry a much bigger variety of melons compared to your big chain store. The prices are often better than Safeway/Fred Meyer, and at times Winco. It is a wonderful place to shop for produce to save money and support local business.”

“So I just ran across this place I was gonna order some thigh smile right next to it but decided I wanted some Mexican food as I went inside well they had some cooked food so I ordered some tacos Kearny Asada and some chicken tacos and to my surprise Celso had some tamales and Menudo so I got some of that too and they are on spot or spot on same thing. For tamales the best not the best but it was really good five stars for that to thumbs up I have definitely been coming back two or three times now I'm probably gonna come back again tonight. So if you're wanting some Carne Asada tacos pork tamales and Menudo this is a spot.”

“The store itself was good. However, when ordering food, it was not easy at all. First, we were told to order in the dining section. Then, the dining section told us we needed to order at the front deli counter. I ordered borscht and stuffed cabbage rolls and tried to order Pierogies but was told I needed to go back to the dining section to order the Pierogies. The borscht and cabbage rolls came cold, and when we went back to order the Pierogies, they said that you can, in fact, order hot borscht in the dining section lol ... We ordered one order of potato and cheese Pierogies but ended up getting two orders. One was potato, and the other was cheese. So when I checked my bank account, I was $25 for two orders of Pierogies when I only wanted one. At least the Pierogies were delicious All in all, the borscht and Pierogies were good. The cabbage rolls were not good, shriveled up and dry.”
