I've had a mailbox at this very small family business for 15 years. Some of the complaints in the other reviews are quite valid, but for location and price, it suits my needs. The proprietor suffered a huge loss this year, so I am rather sympathetic and tolerant of the erratic hours, and hope things get better soon.

Horrible customer service. I brought in a prepaid package and the woman at the counter rolled her eyes and sighed when I asked for assistance taping the top. Ultimately cost $2 for her to do that. I've mailed packages in many places and was never made to feel bad for not having taped a package, let alone charging for it. Will never return.

This place sucks. If you go over there, often package in hand, you'll find the gate closed and no one there regardless of what day it is. They have PO Boxes in there...I don't know why anyone would get a box in a place that is more likely than not to be closed. I mean who runs a business that they just open whenever they feel like it. Ridiculous!

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I got there around 10:30 a.m. on a Friday - half an hour after they were supposed to open - and no one was there and the gate was down. I tried calling and there was no answer and not even voice mail - I got some weird recording that made no sense. I called hours later, and this time a lady answered - she said she had something she had to do that morning, and she half-heartedly apologized. She also didn't seem to think it was a problem that they don't even have voice mail. She sounded apathetic. I also see from the reviews that this was not an isolated incident - several people have said that they went there well after the place was supposed to open and no one was there. I would definitely recomend the Postal Annex on NE Broadway instead - they seemed friendly and competent, and they were actually open when they said they would be.

I'm surprised this so-called business is still open. It received one star from me only because I couldn't give it a zero. First visit: I went to receive a Money Gram order and the clerk wouldn't accept my ID because it was outdated. Fair enough. Second visit: Even though it was during business hours, the store was closed and there was a box of US mail right inside the gate that anyone could reach. This seems to be a violation of Federal law and I will report it to the authorities. Third visit: I called several times before arriving but there was no answer. I was calling to ensure the business would be open this time. No one answered the phone all the times that I called. I arrived at the store in hopes it would be open and it was. The woman, who acts like she doesn't want to be there, told me they probably didn't have enough money to provide the cash from the money gram which was a total of $100. Basically, she didn't want to give up her cash. I had my ID, the reference number for the check and the senders name but she refused to provide the cash that was sent to me. I was outraged but she just stared at me as if she suddenly didn't understand English. This place is the worst and I will be reporting this to Money Gram and the US Postal Service. They need to close this business down.

No hours posted outside the store, been here twice in the last 2 days, gate was closed both times (middle of the day, no reason to be closed!) and the phone # listed for them anywhere (yelp, Lloyd Center website, google) is wrong because you need to enter an "access code", otherwise you get disconnected. This place needs to just shut down / bad business all around! Clearly they don't want to actually be a business! I'd post negative stars if I could!!!!
