I love Monticello’s. Lots of variety in each booth and you can grab a mimosa at the cafe and walk around while shopping. The one downside I’ve experienced, that others have also mentioned, is staff members following you around the store to make sure you aren’t stealing. If you’re that concerned about people stealing maybe put up cameras instead? Having someone basically escorting me around the store is weird AF.

Wide variety of vintage and “new vintage” goods curated by multiple sellers. (Toys, decor, fabrics, garden, furniture, jewelry, collectibles, religious, housewares, art, more!) The staff are all friendly, lovely people. Seasonal themed goods as well (e.g. November-December loads of features Christmas goods).A really fun place to browse for your next treasure.

Really nice selection and variety, pretty high quality overall, and a range of price points. I’ve been coming here for years and am generally satisfied with my purchases. However, there are some issues that really turn me off. First of all, they have several staff following you from booth to booth watching to see if you’re stealing and it is both very uncomfortable and obvious. It creeps me out every time I go there.Second, there are some misleading items that I can see people thinking are vintage or antique but aren’t. I have a pretty good eye for this. But last time I came in even I was tricked. I am a collector of vintage glass Shiny Brite ornaments and purchased two large ones from a booth with several of them. It turns out they are reproductions made in China. There are only a couple of ways to tell this and due to the packaging which obscured these aspects, plus no indication of age, I missed it.I opened them at home and called Monticello right away to ask about returning them. The person on the phone said there are no returns and after I explained the situation again they said that they agree with me that I should be able to return them but the policy doesn’t allow it.They took my name and number to give to the owner to call me back with the caveat that she isn’t very good about returning phone calls so I will probably need to try again. Turns out she never called and it’s just not worth it to try and fight about it, hence this review.

I used to love this place but a few things in recent times have made me less likely to visit very often. They used to play vintage music more appropriate to the environment but the last few times I visited they were playing pop music from the 1980s that did not fit the era(s) of the merchandise being sold. It was loud and distracting, and I didn't stay as long as I would have. Also, they used to be more decorative at Christmas time, but this year the Christmas decorations are not as prominent. I will still shop here from time to time but not as much as I used to.

Gorgeous but extremely pricey. Some of these items are priced over vintage market value. But overall the best part of this is the cafe! They're friendly the food is delicious and the back of the thrift store smells like warm croissants! Yummy! Have a yummy half sandwich and oat milk lavender latte. Heaven.

My favorite time of year is Christmas. Monticello doesn't disappoint! They have so many fun trinkets for stocking stuffers to under the tree gifts. There is something for everyone. The staff is superb! They are well equipped to handle the load of customers that come through their establishment. They are SUPER helpful. And let's not forget KIND!!!

I returned to Monticello 6-7 years later and it is still a fabulous place to shop. I brought my sister who had never been in who loved it and will be back to visit your store again!

Cool multi vendor antique market where you can find anything from outdoor to indoor decor to quirky clothes to planted pots. There’s a nice coffee place inside with play cards on each table which make it a nice place to hang out between exploring the crowded shelves.
