I cannot recommend this place too highly. The quality of the work and the materials is excellent. And the customer service was above and beyond. They worked with me well beyond what big box mattress store would ever do. Gary and David are top notch! I am completely satisfied with my entire experience here.

I cannot express my gratitude enough to this amazing local company. I discovered them through DesignWell Studios (also amazing), who helped me greatly, after environmental toxic exposure which hugely affected my health negatively. This kind, generous, toxin-free company, went SO far above & beyond for me (a perfect stranger to them), and was such a god-send during a hugely difficult time in my life. Their mattresses are amazingly COMFY, and even more importantly, chemical-free. What a peace of mind when one is trying to heal from multiple health challenges.THANK YOU David, and Mulligan Mattress, for reminding me there ARE still amazing companies AND humans out there in this world, doing good stuff.

Traditionally I have been a night owl, but with our Mulligan Mattress all I want to do is get in bed. There is no sign on the business front (that I recall) - it’s no frills and doubles as a workroom. David was informative and direct, we picked our favorite of the tester mattresses and we were on our way with little fuss. David delivered to our door (1 hr out of town, sorry David!) exactly when he said he would and here we are in in dreamland. Did I mention is was a fraction of the price of comparable all-latex mattresses we saw online?! Support local small businesses, you will be glad you did with Mulligan Mattress.

We purchase a long size mattress from these guys over two years ago. Coming off of a Temperpedic mattress it was very exciting how much money comfortable this mattress is - and at half of the price? The brothers that you will work with to design your own comfort level will not rest until you are happy. Try one, Buy one and you'll never regret it.

My husband is 48 and spent all day cutting and installing tiles yesterday. Took some Advil for his aching back and went to bed wondering if our Mulligan mattress, with his recently added topper (my side is soft and his side is medium and he just added a topper to it) would cure his back. I made a BobaFett joke and then received this text message after he left for work. Enough said.

This family owned company is fantastic, reliable, and delivers, literally fantastic allergy free non toxic beds and pillows.I own both a bed and pillow and have not had any problems since purchasing. I am severely sensitive to chemicals and off gassing.Mulligan Mattress has great service and no pressure sales. They encourage you to take your time and they have an amazing guarantee backing their products.I hope whoever reads this review purchases from this locally owned company.

Going back for my 3rd mattress now that little brother is ready for his 1st twin mattress. Bought our big kid one and loved it so much we bought ourselves one. Worth every penny. 5 years in, still comfortable, still perfect.

This is hands down the absolute best place to buy a mattress EVER. The brothers who own and run the store will give you wit, sarcasm, your best nights sleep and a guarantee you cannot find anywhere. They let us exchange our mattress for one firmer without hesitation. We cannot recommend them more highly. Look no further!

I wish I could give this mattress and this company 10 stars! We bought a mattress from them in 2005 that is still the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on. I have had that same thought thousands of times when I climb into bed! Was just looking them up to refer them to a friend (for probably the 100th time:)) and wanted to be sure to post a review. The buying experience was low stress and amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed the sweetly snarky owner (glad to see from recent reviews that hasn't changed over the years). I promise this will be the best purchase you ever make...

Super helpful, answered all of my questions and let me lay around on all of the different mattresses for a long time without hovering. Even helped me drag each of the different topper options onto the floor so I could see exactly how they felt on a hard surface. I'm very happy with the mattress I ended up with after a year of using it. Definitely the best mattress I've ever had, and the price was very reasonable.

Truly a chemical-free sleeping solution. We love our latex mattresses. Even though I've had reactions to chemically laden latex products in the past, a Mulligan mattress is different. No smell. No allergic reaction. We've bought two mattresses so far and they are beautifully made. I feel like guys really take pride in their work.

Best mattress out there! My husband & I looked around for a natural chemical free mattress for a while & we were lucky enough find what we were looking for here in Portland. Gary is very knowledgeable & helpful with everything. I highly recommend this company if you are in the hunt for a high quality natural mattress.
