We had a great experience here recently. Our engine management light came on, and we were stressed about getting it resolved before our DEQ deadline. Jason and his team were fantastic—they worked thoroughly to fix the issue and kept us informed with frequent updates throughout the process. Thanks to their quick service, we were able to make it to our test right on time. Thank you, Jason and the team, for your hard work and for getting us back on the road so fast!

The mechanics at Multnomah Automotive found the leak in my coolant system and fixed by the time I needed the car back. Auto repair has become expensive beyond belief, but at least I can trust Multnomah Automotive to get it done properly and quickly.

My car has a whirring sound that no shop yet has been able to diagnose. Jason & his team got in the car with me to drive & hear it firsthand, spent hours listening to different parts of the engine to determine where it was coming from, and eventually decided on the alternator. It turns out that wasn’t the case- after spending all day on my car, these guys swapped my old alternator back in at no charge & told me to come back when their master tech was in-house (I came over a holiday weekend). 5 stars for this team being completely honest and not still charging me when they knew they didn’t solve the problem yet. I will 100% keep returning here as I’ve been a customer for 2 years now.

The day before Thanksgiving and the check engine light turns on, the car’s running strange, and I’m giving up on getting to the feast with family 200 miles away. But Jason and crew decided I was going to make it home after all. Not only did they rapidly diagnose the issue, but they got everything fixed before the end of the day, which meant I could make the drive after all. Thank you thank you thank you for saving Thanksgiving!

I noticed I was getting a flat tire. I stopped in at Multnomah Automotive and they had my tire patched and me back on my way home incredibly quickly. They didn’t charge me an arm and a leg either. I think that I’m going to keep this shop in mind for other maintenance like oil changes, wiper blades, etc.

They thoroughly diagnosed my car’s issue and provided clear and understandable explanation of the issue to me. They went above and beyond providing additional help for my car when another business failed to complete the installation of a new battery. Have been here more than once and can attest that the folks here are not only extremely knowledgeable, but just downright friendly. Jason in particular is an awesome guy and will always be up front and honest with you. I appreciate that when you bring a vehicle in to be looked at, you get a detailed report sent to you that includes detailed descriptions any issues found, the work recommended, and pictures to back everything up. Above everything, service is fast.

I had a really good experience here. My car broke down at their neighboring gas station and Jason got me in immediately, and had my car back to me by the end of the day. Great communication throughout the day as well via text and phone. Gave suggestions on other stuff I need to address that weren’t *as* emergent. Jason was very nice, honest and trustworthy! Also not bad pricing compared to other places I’ve been. I recommend!

I was looking for a neighborhood shop because I was tired of getting overcharged and upsold at the dealership. Read Multnomah Automotive’s reviews, and scheduled an appointment to bring my Renegade in. They’re the most communicative shop I’ve ever worked with. They provided full diagnostics, asked for authorization before any work was done, sent photos, and took care of everything incredibly fast. Looking forward to working with them again.

Broke down across the street. 3 employees came to help push my truck into a bay. They fixed it the next day and I was back on the road. Fun guys with good energy. They were top shelf.
