Multnomah County Library - Capitol Hill is a great little neighborhood library, described as one of the best in the county. It is a warm and inviting space, though one of the smaller branches. The building is essentially one big room. It has many computers available for use, and held books are stored in the main area for easy pickup at the self-checkout. The selection of kids books is amazing for its size, and the new kids area is fantastic. The library offers wonderful and free activities for children. The staff are extremely helpful, polite, and greet visitors with smiles. They are very helpful with children looking for books. The library provides services like a super easy and fast scanner, copies, and faxing, offering savings compared to other stores. It can get loud with kids playing, which may be distracting for those seeking total quiet, but it remains a pleasant place where families spend happy time.
