New Day School is a warm, loving, nurturing, and beautiful preschool. It is described as an integral part of creating amazing childhood memories. Parents report a wonderful experience, noting the school radiates with love and joy thanks to the longtime dedication of its wonderful staff. A highlight is the healthy and delicious food prepared daily, which encourages children to enjoy diverse foods. However, a weekly concern is the use of very loud gas leaf blowers, which stir up dust and leaves for about an hour, seen as not good for the kids or the neighborhood.

We love New Day School! Both of our kids have attended and have benefitted greatly from the dedicated and caring teachers, gorgeous campus, and the culture of kindness that is fundamental to the school. Really sweet school in SE Portland.

Nurturing environment for kids to explore and grow. Outdoor play area is phenomenal and an emphasis on playing outside year-round is also a plus.

We love New Day. While organizational skills are not their strong point, the ethos of the school and the teachers are really fantastic!
