Were it not for the wonderful employees at the checkout I would give 1 star. I am just struggling to be a patron at any New Seasons. The pricing on the goods is outrageous. I’m well versed in pricing and this store is neck and neck with Market of Choice and Zupans for the most absurdly overpriced inventory in the Portland metro. In addition, the quality of the in house made goods has fallen so low that I no longer buy several items that I had relied on for years and years (before New Seasons was acquired by Good Food Holdings).Sad to see.

Good stuff including some bulk items and pre-made, healthy foods. However, hella expensive! And quite often one is accosted for money at the door and/or in the parking lot which makes quick trips to the store to spend your hard earned cash less pleasant. I live nearby and due to an incident where a friend fainted in the store during a health crisis and employees completely ignored him (he called me and I drove him straight to the hospital) I quit going here entirely for 8 years. Just edging my way back in now and again and am consistently exasperated at the prices. That being said, they do have an awesome selection of goods.

The produce section has deteriorated seriously. Please note the name of New Seasons has been bought out by a Korean Company. They kept the name of New Seasons. So it is fast becoming a conventional store. New Seasons reputation is now being destroyed. This company participates in every sin of God's Holy Word. You go woke you go broke.

Your staff is great. Your prices are just way out of control.I hear you you pay your employees well, and I’m grateful for that, for them .But I am not the only one talking about how your prices have gotten ridiculousOr too high for some of us to really afford. Many are turning back to Whole Foods and I’m just letting you know that. You’re going to lose customers you already are.im one of them. Not saying, I won’t ever come there because you’re very close to me, but I have been forced to take a drive elsewhere due to finances.Dam

New Seasons Market is really solid. I love the staff that works here. Great selection of produce and products. There are many New Seasons Markets all over Portland. I am deducted one star because wasn't too keen on the salad bar here. As much as I love New Seasons I find the cooperatives here even better such as Alberta Coop and People's Coop. New Seasons though is a still a solid option and worth checking out!

Helpful kind staff. Staff in supplement section are friendly but need to be more knowledgeable. Expensive store but good quality products.

I’m giving them 4 stars because of how expensive they are. That being said, they pay their employees a living wage as well as benefits, so that says a lot. The selection of beauty products, local produce and bakery items and the large selection of local coffee roasters keeps me coming back!I really love the kitchen/housewares section for gifts. They have a great selection of super cute and unique items, they are just $$$. I like that they have a decent flower/plant selection as well. The hot bar, in my opinion could use some work and the deli items are not my favorite but I do enjoy the hot roasted chickens for a quick, easy dinner main. Staff are usually very nice and helpful. They no longer have an express lane, however, they have changed to self checkouts (4 kiosks I believe).

I can only use New Seasons in a pinch nowadays since prices have gone up so high here. It's even beyond what you would find in other specialty groceries. I used to love shopping here, but I simply can't afford it anymore.

So expensive!! During the pandemic the prices here kept creeping up, higher than anywhere else. For example Aldens Ice Cream is $12.39 now at New Seasons, but around $9.50 at Whole Foods or Fred Meyer. Almost everything in the store is several dollars more than anywhere else. And, the selection of organic produce and grocery is awful. There are staples I have bought here for decades that they have discontinued. I rarely go anymore.

Produce selection is great! Many people smoke crack in the parking lot. Staff generally tries to find something else to do when notified.
