Aisles are really close and hard to navigate, but great selection and really clean store.

I was just in to get multiple packages of wood, 4 staff members just standing around, watching me carry them out to the car. If you up charge on everything and have staff members just stand around maybe have them help a customer bring purchases to the car!

The most elitist shipping experience in Portland. If you want to overpay for groceries only to be treated poorly and looked down upon by rude employees, this is your place.

Over priced. The service is still good but one small bag of groceries cost me $100!!

i have been buying my weekly groceries at new season for over 5 years. the tall skinny manager has randomly started following me around every time i come in to shop at this location. tonight i was taking my phone out of my messenger bag and he came up to me and told me he saw me put something in my bag and was going to go check the security cameras. definitely not the friendliest store in town when they treat loyal customers like this

Has a lovely local market atmosphere. I dont mind paying a bit more to avoid the hectic vibe of other nearby options. Cashiers are friendly, ask what im making, and seem really knowledgable. I see the same people working a lot and it really feels like they recognize me and thats nice. Cooking is hectic for me and this is my stress free cozy option. But I cant get over the anti-union stance New Seasons has taken. Organic this, free trade that, but for some reason they go the exact opposite direction when it comes to the store itself. Really disappointing so I cant give more than one star.

They hire less checkers now and pay less labor now that they have installed self check out lanes. I see the increases in costs but not the savings as a consumer. The added anti union stance has this Korean disappointed in New Seasons Korean ownership. Do better New Seasons.

A nice New Season Market on Hawthorne. Lots of food and veggies, bread, dairy, especially like to splurge on gado gado balls!

It’s a great place if you want to pay double for everything and catch attitude from wildly unprofessional employees. Maybe if I’d been wearing my Che shirt and had a nose ring like a real rebel I could get decent customer service at the most expensive store in town.

It’s so uncomfortable to know you’ll be approached by someone asking for money, posted up by the front door, no matter what, every time you go to this location. I don’t know if there’s anything that the store can really do about it, but seems like it must be more tolerated here or something. It’s worse here than any other place I’ve shopped for groceries, and it makes me often choose other places to shop. They also haven’t had heavy cream the last 4 times I’ve looked for it. Unrelated, but also lame.

Out of all of the New Seasons that I shop at, this one is one of my favorites. It’s usually nice and clean, and the employees have always been helpful.

We all know the prices are over priced. I can literally get the same block of cheese at Fred Meyers across the street for $2 cheaper, but I didn’t mind paying a little more and having someone check me out. Now it looks like New Season is switching to self checkout and I can’t justify the price difference when I’m checking myself out.

I usually love shopping at this New Season's location. Today I was looking for a cashier to check out my groceries and saw an open register but the cashier named Colin( bald) was busy talking to another cashier with his back turned to me, I put my groceries onto the belt and literally said "hello" three times while being ignored for their conversation while their lane lights were on and open. He then rang my stuff up without saying a word or even saying hello in return. He didn't offer a receipt, didn't offer to bag my groceries and just handed me a bag and I still was giving benefit of the doubt until I said, "thanks, hope you have a good day" and he glared and said NOTHING in return....How friendly...I am not bringing my business here again, super terrible vibes and unfriendly and unprofessional to chat with other employees while the lane is open and then ignoring every word I said without response...Oh and to top it off, he said hello and how are you and thanked the next customer in line/spoke with them with friendliness...I did nothing to this person to be treated so differently and it really hurt. Never again....felt like cr*p spending 180$ there today to get treated like I didn;t exist. Thanks.

I use to spend a huge amount of money at this new seasons. After I went in last week and saw a Disney flyer promoting “gender transition” for children on their community board - I’m glad to say that I’ll never give them another dollar of my business. They are literally endorsing and promoting the sterilization of children in the community.
