I find this place to very Portlandish. The vibe is that of Portland to me. The food is okay, the service is good. The view is very nice, you can see west hills from your seat. It is a large place, it can take many people. It’s on the 4th floor of the building and a bit difficult to find. I will return and try something more.

We love this place. The views are stunning, the service is outstanding, and the food and drinks are very, very good. Our only issue is the noise level. The tables are close together and they're all hard surfaces. It was impossible to hear our tablemates.

Noble Rot has been a Portland standard for so long it’s sometimes overlooked- but having visited multiple times over the last year+ we’ve had consistently excellent meals. It’s one of a handful of places where we go for a casual dinner (esp for the bavette steak) at the bar and walk away impressed with the quality of the food / drinks.

Good food with a view of downtown. Not the best value but not outrageous. Service was the 'relaxed' style you often find in Portland - what is lacking in refinement is offset by a welcoming and easy-going vibe. For this restaurant, a little more refined service would fit pricing and atmosphere better.

This restaurant is by far one of the best places for ambiance, service and delicious food with grown veggies and herbs from their roof top garden. We love our favorite booth with lemon for our water waiting for us:) ?

We went for date night and had such a lovely experience! Our server was very kind, attentive and patiently answered our many questions about the restaurant. The foods were perfectly cooked, the drinks were excellent, and the sunset views were gorgeous. We thoroughly enjoyed everything and would highly recommend Noble Rot to our friends and family!

$300 to sit at a tiny table crammed in like sardines where we could not even sit next to each other was NOT worth it. Been there twice and the food is ok, not worth their price point though. Booth seating or larger table seating appears to make for a more comfortable $300 dinner for two but not the tiny coffee shop tables.

Continues to be one of our favorite restaurants in Portland. Food is incredibly good and service is excellent. It's clear the Chef and staff are passionate about their work! Steve

Fantastic wine list and Ray the sommelier is extremely knowledgeable. Food-wise, stellar combinations, I recommend the charcuterie plate to start off your experience but everything I tasted there was absolutely delicious!

(Apologies for my camera, I skate and cracked the camera lol). Went and made dinner reservations online a day or so before. Super easy.Showed up, and got seated quickly. It is a beautiful little spot. The restaurant and bar is really nice. Menu was too good, hard to choose a dinner entree.I got the Hanger Steak with fries and it was phenomenal. Drinks were great. It was about $50/person for food and dinner. Skipping refills and dessert. I would come here again for any occasion! Can't wait to come back for summer time dining.

From the moment we were greeted at the door ... Then throughout our drinks, appetizers and dinner .... up until saying our goodbyes ... we were thoroughly impressed! Not to mention the food was phenomenal!

My wife's duck was tough, overcooked, very unfortunate as I would expect at these price points it would be cooked correctly. Seating was uncomfortable as we were seated at a table for four with a planter box between two couples, made it very hard to have a conversation. Wines were very limited in the selection, four white and four reds by the glass only, some bubbles, etc. I would say this place is good for the younger generation looking for a good view of the city, average/decent food, and a place to hang out as it took almost 20 minutes after seating before someone came over and asked if we would like something to drink.

Food flavors were good, server was friendly. Timing of the food delivery was terrible. Entrees were delivered to the table before we'd finished half of our appetizer. Very disappointed with the server and busser. My husband's plate was taken away before he'd finished eating, the busser didn't ask - just took the plate and walked away. The busser and server each came by to clear my plate, and I had to vocalize that I was still enjoying my meal. The entire experience felt rushed (in and out in under 90min), as if we were an inconvenience. Our reservation was on a Thursday evening, and the restaurant wasn't close to capacity so I don't understand why we were rushed.
