“The folks at Pacific Typewriter gave a whole new life to my functional but crud-filled Underwood 5! The keys were very sticky. The caps/tops were corroded. Things that were meant to slide really did not want to. And the amount of crap that dislodged when I first tried typing with it was honestly kind of impressive.
It couldn't have been more than 24 hours before my machine was ready for pickup once it reached the top of their queue, and I almost couldn't believe it was the same machine when I saw it! Everything moves so smoothly now :) I will be going to Pacific Typewriter first for all of my future repairs or supplies. Friendly and welcoming people, and exceptional work for an exceptional price. Highly recommend!”

“What an amazing place,
I brought in my typewriter that I inherited from my grandmother that was no longer progressing reliably when keys were pressed. Owner was so kind and was telling me all about my typewriter and tried oiling it and getting it going while I was there but it needed some actual work done so I confidently left it with him. My confidence was not misplaced, I picked it up today (earlier than I expected to!) and it works so beautifully. Good as new and I cant wait to write many more letters on it. An amazing shop full of history and knowledge. Places like this are why I love Portland.”

“I literally cannot say enough good things about this company and their employees. I have had the absolute pleasure of working with them on putting together several proposals for brand new copier machines in our offices as our lease on our existing equipment through Pacific Office Automation is FINALLY drawing to a close (and btw, if you are even remotely considering going down that route with POA, don't just walk away... RUN! Trust me). The rep that I worked with throughout this entire process (and it was a long one, on our end, not theirs) was Nick Bassett, and he was an absolute delight! He stuck by us every step of the way, with a dogged determination and drive to see things through. He may be young and somewhat new to the industry, but do not let that fool you. This guy really knows his stuff, far better than many veteran reps who I have spoken to throughout my lifetime. He is always prompt and timely in his responses and follow-up, does exactly what he says he is going to do, is extremely knowledgeable about his company and the products and services that they provide, and truly cares about what is in the best interests of the customer, and is therefore not pushy in the least, which I really appreciated. I have absolutely no doubt that Nick is going to go very far in his career, no matter where his future takes him, and I hope that one day our paths might cross again in the future. While we ultimately were not able to work with Kelley in the end due to a corporate contract that was in place with another provider and entirely out of my control, I definitely consider that to be a huge loss on our end, as this is one classy company, and one that I would have loved to have been partners with. And I would gladly be willing to recommend their services to anybody, any day of the week. So thank you, Kelley Connect, for a job very well done. And thank YOU, Nick, for all you did in helping us along the way, and for being so gracious, even when things didn't pan out exactly as we'd all hoped in the end. It did not go unnoticed.”
“Best to make an appointment before going! I was looking for ergonomic computer work chairs for teleworking full time and they had lots of samples to try but not all chairs worked or had features enough to determine fit (tilt, lift, pan slide). They had some discontinued chairs for $100. I wish they had a lending program since there's no return policy and they are a custom order your chairs outfit. I want a chair that allows me to work long hours without pain and so many chairs don't support an upright position for reading online/typing/mousing all day.”

“I've worked with Imperial Office Solutions in a professional capacity, and for the most part, they've provided prompt and pleasant service. I've unable to get into specifics of our deployment, due to non-disclosure agreements, but I can safely say that, overall, the process of swapping out some leased hardware has been relatively painless.Yes, there have been a few hiccups and snafus along the road to swapping out our leased devices, such as license files not being pre-emptively installed, being shorted some external accessories, and then being shipped an incompatible peripheral, which had to be exchanged. However, in each case, Rick (the owner) was right on top of the issues, helping us sort out each individual case as fast as could possibly be expected. For that reason alone, I would highly recommend Imperial Office Solutions for your office hardware needs. Paraphasing the words of Vanilla Ice: "If you got a problem, yo, IOS will solve it!"”
“Such a wonderful experience. If you work in offices, and ever need office stuff -- chairs/floor mats/desks etc. -- they have it and such a better deal. A lot of it is hardly used. Also, the team -- Cari is such a gem to work with, very intuitive and so knowledgeable. To round out the stellar experience -- the delivery crew, Fernando and Navneel are AMAZING! They go above and beyond and I hope no one else ever delivers to our office. They are the kind of employees you almost want to try to steal for yourself because they are so hardworking and it shows. “I purchased an Embody chair from Pacific WRO almost a decade ago and they have always been responsive, and professional anytime I needed a part replaced under the warranty of the chair. In the decade of ownership they were nice enough to send a technician to my house with replacement parts to fix any and all issues at no cost to me. It's really refreshing to see companies keeping their promise instead of finding ways to avoid taking care of the customer. Tim the tech/repair guy is awesome, he came out to replace a broken part and noticed that another part of my chair needed replacement for my safety, he fixed the initial problem AND referred a follow up appointment to fix the other part. “I don't write many reviews, but these guys deserve all the stars. I've only been in Portland for 3 years, but I have moved 3 times. It wasn't until my last move that I found this place for boxes and all moving supplies. They don't have a store front but they take phone orders and have it ready for pick up the same day. More convenient than going in and shopping. Cheaper and better quality than hardware or moving outlets. But the reason I am writing the review is that they are so kind and helpful, and when you are moving, that's everything.”
