DO NOT finance anything through OnPoint!! They are completely inept. Our payments go out well in advance of the due date every month, and every month a representative will call and say we are late. The last 3 months, we've found out from our bank that they cashed our checks before they even called us. I've had a car payment for 25 years now with no issues. If interest rates weren't such a disaster right now we would move our business elsewhere.

We have always preferred Credit Unions, but in truth, although their branches are staffed by nice helpful people, their 24 hour customer service is non-existent. Reporting fraud is useless, they will always honor fraudulent transactions. The truth is that you will probably get better customer service with for profit banks, they have no false pretensions, they either keep their customers or lose them. Non-profits are extremely profitable, don't be fooled. They are less responsive than for-profit institutions, because they don't want to be, don't need to be. They answer to no one.

I needed a cashier’s check for rent and the brunette woman who helped me checked my account and gave me a funny look. She asked me which account from, and no one has ever asked me that. Clearly it would be my checking because there is less money in the savings. She still looked at me as if saying, “are you sure?”. I said to cancel and I will just go to the other teller and she didn’t even ask if there was anything wrong. She just gave me my id and card.I like the Burnside people better. And please tell you peeps to stop pointing out the balance. I’m 50 and I know how to check my balance.

Literally the longest I've ever waited on hold for anything. Tried to call twice today, about an hour altogether of wasted time before giving up. Holy s**t just let me unlock my account so I can pay rent.Strongly recommend finding another bank if you ever expect you'll need customer service.

OnPoint is the worst financial institution I have ever dealt with. Rude and unhelpful customer service.

I have a car loan that the smart, professional and straight talking, Rachel Simmons, helped us to procure a few years ago. When I recently wanted to get a HELOC, I tried Bank of America. That was a tremendous mistake. They lure you in with the promise of a generous loan and low interest rate. Then, they torture you. After 3.5 months, the counter offer was 12% of what they had originally told us we qualified for. Our Underwriter apologized profusely and admitted that the huge discrepancy was due to a disconnect internally between the Retail side and the Corporate Underwriters. And, we are people with excellent credit, etc. So, cut to yesterday when I reached out to Rachel. She was able to quickly gather some information, gave me a quote but said she could not guarantee that will be the amount, told me the rate, and said that she could have some kind of decision in a week, and that the entire process could take a month to six weeks. What a breath of fresh air. I have obtained two mortgages and have refinanced at least three times in my life. I have never been so misled by a financial institution like I was by Bank of America. One of the positive outcomes of this awful experience with BofA was that it made me appreciate the straight forwardness and honesty of a person like Rachel Simmons and an organization like OnPoint. I don't even have a loan yet, but am already so happy that I am working with Rachel and OnPoint no matter what the outcome.

09/21/21I work in the hospitality industry as a server, and came to this location to deposit my tips through the ATM.It wasn’t the most pleasant experience as one of the employee members seemed very unwelcoming.RACHEL SIMMONS was standing less than 20 feet of the ATM glaring at me. This isn’t the first experience I’ve encountered with this woman. Moment after, she went back inside and the ATM shut off.I’m frustrated because I still use my bank from back home (UTAH), and depositing cash from OnPoint is the only way I can put money into my account. As a credit Union I hope you learn to treat your clients and those utilizing your credit Union ATM’s with more care. Very very disappointing.

My friend recommended Onpoint to me last year and I have never had a better banking experience. The staff members are friendly and efficient and I appreciate the service I have received from them since day one.

This is a great bank branch. The staff is so helpful. Even if they think something can't be done they go to great lengths to try every work around to get the information or the problem solved. I've been a member since 1980 when it was Portland Teachers Credit Union and this is one of the best branches. I do almost all banking online but when you have a problem it is good to have a helpful branch to go to for help.

I am very please with OnPoint mortgage services, specifically Kim Blanquie. I have been an Onpoint customer for about 7 years, and recently I applied for a home loan with Onpoint. This was honestly the most seamless application process I have ever experienced. Not only did I get the best interest rate around I also received top notch service. Kim was very diligent, she communicated with me every step of the way and I have her to thank for making this experience completely stress free!

After long consideration, I decided to switch from the big national bank I had been with for years(for ease during travel) and wanted to put my money the closest credit union, OnPoint. I walked into this branch with my most recent paycheck and was able to open a Savings/ Checking account and got a new debit card within 15 minutes of entering. Great service and close to home. A+

The staff are friendly, understanding and polite.I go to this bank regularly and weekly and not once can I say a single bad thing about them?I cannot express my appreciation to the people who work there and the convenience of the location of this bank, they don't act like robots and they treat every question and transaction with care and understanding.Keep up the fantastic work Harvey & milk?I will be staying with Onpoint
