I recently moved all my banking from a CU in Pennsylvania. I worked with Tyra at this branch to setup a bunch of accounts for our family members. She was very responsive and made everything easy. The CU experience has been excellent. I've been a Credit Union customer for over 28 years and have found OnPoint to meet or exceed all my expectations.

Trevor was amazing to work with! We recently closed a deal where he was able to successfully help my buyers secure their home in from accepted offer to close — I’m just 2 weeks and 2 days! That’s incredible because we had an appraisal… and a holiday….and closed on the last business day of the month! Wow! Terrific job. Fantastic and timely communication. My clients felt very well informed and all around everyone was thrilled. I look forward to working with Trevor again.

I have rarely been in an institution that does a worse job so often as OnPoint. Fire your upper management today. Get your priorities straight. I went into a branch once and they had a person that could not tell me what was going on. Figure it out guys.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Dealt with customer service teller, personal bankers and financial planners. They did not respond to email or return phone calls. I have spent HOURS trying to deal with them. Today I was put on hold for 64 minutes only to be told I would need to send a formal letter just to have a statement printed. I finally had to get my lawyer onboard to send threatening letter before any action was taken. I wouldn't trust this place with my piggy bank.

Local Credit Union with all the compassion of a big bank. The website is cumbersome. getting someone on the phone is time consuming.

This is a follow up to a review I posted 3 months ago about the Onpoint mortgage process. When the review went live, and when the powers-that-be reviewed my letter detailing the experience, I did receive an apology from one of the mortgage team executives. How their mea culpa will impact the overall mortgage process is yet to be seen. It's not likely that I will ever find out because my file is in the drawer and they are on to the next. That was easy, right? And it's highly unikely I would open another mortgage app with them. . Once burned, twice shy, you know. That said, we have commenced moving our financial services to other credit unions and online banks for much better rates and services. Give Advantis or First Tech a try. For online savings at a better rate than anyone, try CIT (not Citi- stay away from Citibank at all costs). Lesson learned- make the lender give you a full disclosure of all the docs they are going to require. Then keep asking and asking, and asking. You'll tire them into cooperation.

I came in to open an account and I was greeted immediately. Kerissa, helped me out in opening the account. She was very friendly, quick and efficient. The best part that I liked was that she didn't use that BS scripted language like Wells Fargo does such as "Hi, it is a pleasure to do business with you. How can I assistant you on this pleasant day today?"

Awful financial planning on top of horrible rates. I've taken most of my cash out of Onpoint due to the demise of their customer service. I used their financial advisors and I would never recommend them. Cindy Montgomery doesn't even return calls. I'll be contacting the Onpoint board and Raymond James. Ally and Advantis at least have savings and checking account interest rates that are good. RIP PTCU After I posted this, Cindy called me. In a matter of minutes and was quite informative and genuinely seemed kind. I will remove the rest of my cash to another institution but leave the Raymond James account here for the time being.

I wrote a critical review on 1/16/2018 about a credit card rejection and that OnPoint was not a good choice for credit rebuilders. As it turns out, the auto system rejection was caused an incorrect Bankruptcy line on my Equifax credit report, which I have petitioned to have removed. Immediately, Nik from Onpoint contacted my for more details and escalated the case to Cindy, Lending Manager. First thing the next morning, Cindy called me personally to discuss the discrepancy and approved me on the spot for a CC with a $10,000 limit, based on my credit score. It was a great experience working with Cindy, Nik and Jess to resolve my frustrations. Based on this experience and their dedication to ensure the best possible Customer Experience, I give a five start rating for OnPoint Credit Union. - Grateful OnPoint Credit Union member.

Not a real a credit union. Credit unions are democratically controlled financial institutions. OnPoint's bylaws require a committee, selected by the board chair, to review and select one potential director per open position. As a member, your vote only serves to affirm the pre-selected slate of candidates.
