The business offers everything from full hides, tack, and shoe findings to famous leather scrap bins for craftsmen, artisans, or weekend projects. The Portland location is currently undergoing remodeling and is temporarily closed to retail traffic due to flooding and renovations. Despite this, the business is open for orders. Customers must call ahead of time, as in-store shopping is not an option. Orders can be placed by phone for curbside pickup. The staff is super friendly, knowledgeable, very accommodating, and helpful, offering advice on projects even while the store is closed. The planned reopening is scheduled for between June and September.
