This is a great place to get work done on various types of wheelchair lift vans, ramp vans and they many solutions for modifying vehicles to accommodate disabled drivers. Service is good as well. You will find yourself well greeted and welcome there. United Access has been very helpful to me and my organization, and they have tons of experience. There is even a great lounge with snacks for customers who are waiting for service.

I have been working with Jessie and his team for a couple of years now. The knowledge and insight they possess is second to none. They are very accommodating and always go above and beyond to make sure I am taken care of. I want to thank Rachelle, Jessie and the entire crew (sorry I cannot remember all their names. It can be anxiety inducing giving your Accesible Vehicle to someone to fix. There’s a bit of your independence you are giving up, so you better be sure of their work. I’m fully confident in United Access, they are competent and incredible people. Rachelle is a blast to work with as well.

Many thanks to Rachelle — thanks to her help, we were able to have an amazing accessible van to explore the beautiful state of Oregon. Her attention from the very first moment was outstanding, and whenever we needed her, she was always there to offer support. As for the van, it couldn’t have been better — very comfortable and safe for those using wheelchairs. Truly, highly recommended. Thank you, United Access, for providing such excellent service. 100% recommended!

Many thanks to Jesse at United Access in Portland!
We bought a van from Jesse for a relative. Two months later, the relative suddenly passed away. When we brought the van to United Access, Jesse, kindly bought back the van at a very fair price.
Jesse and his staff are wonderful to deal with, and I will highly recommend United Access to anyone needing a disability vehicle.

I cannot say enough good things about United Access and the people here!
We initially went in to look into the option of an accessible van. Troy was extremely patient and showed us all of the options. My wife also requires hand controls, something we had no experience with before going in. Jemal went the extra mile to allow my wife to sit in his personal vehicle equipped with hand controls to get the feel of them as they did not have a vehicle on the lot equipped.
We ultimately decided not to go with a van, but Troy recommended an OT for my wife to get a prescription for her hand controls. After this, he was able to order exactly what we needed and it only took a couple of weeks for the parts to come in. He also ordered a power wheelchair lift for our truck which was installed the day after the hand controls were put in our car, the same day she had her lesson on the controls in our car.
This brings me to Jesse, the GM. He was friendly and fantastic to work with. He worked with us to ensure our truck would be done after the hand controls so that we wouldn’t have to make another trip out. He also set me up with a ride home the day I dropped off our car.
After the install of the lift on our truck, he was surprised we did not get a swing away to allow the tailgate to work, something I wasn’t sure we needed. After he explained to us that the lift was heavy and difficult to remove, we opted to see if we could get a swing away. Luckily they had one in stock and he took our truck back and they had it fully complete in 30 minutes.
Never once did we feel pressured to spend more than we needed to or get something we didn’t need. Everyone ensured that we were confident in our choices and made sure we did what was best for my wife.
To top it off, their waiting room is fantastic.

If you need customer service go to Jesse, you will not be disappointed. We admire his openness. Me and my husband brought him issues from other brunch store and he didn’t mind. He treated us kindly and he explained things well.

Max is an awesome head technician who diagnosed and repaired a problem we were having with our secure lock for my chair in my new van. Quickly and concisely, he got us going and we have had no other problems with the unit.

We purchased a used Toyota Sienna. We are very happy with it.
I’d like to thank and commend Jemal Mfundi (sp) for guiding us through the entire process. Jemal has great command of the features and benefits of conversion vans and has a knack for helping a person understand them. We met several folks at the NE Portland location and everyone was very nice. A superior culture there. I will recommend!
