Pip’s serves small delicious donuts that are perfect for sharing. They are great to pick up to share with coworkers or family, especially on birthdays as you get a free dozen within 7 days of your birthday.

This is the spot to get your sugar high as you enjoy some donuts. Lines do get pretty long to order and sometimes it’s hard to find a spot to sit. They offer different menu every so often, so it’s always nice to check up ahead of time for any specials.

My family loves Pip’s! My boys do not care much for sweets and do not even eat donuts

Pip's Doughnuts are AMAZING!! Coming out of the oven or reheating them at home they melt in your mouth. I would not have even considered some of the flavors they had developed, but they were wonderful. And if you go the week of your birthday you can get a free dozen. What can be better than that.

Our first stop on our day trip to Portland.

Pips is so good because the donuts are made to order. Always hot and crunchy with a steamy middle. Each of their toppings is great in its own way

Fantastic experience. Despite the line being consistently long, it moved at a decent pace. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The donuts were choice. Highly recommend.

Love this place! The line was out the door and took very long since everything's made to order. My favorite is definitely the Nutella flavored one. The Smokey chai was great too.

Best donuts in town!! Well worth the wait. My favorite is the Nutella Doughnut! I'm not a big fan of Chai, but their Chai is worth trying!

So go to Pip's and sit in the restaurant with good friends or your family, have a nice tea and savor the wonderful flavor of Pip's Original Doughnuts & Chi!

I'm going to have cravings for this place for the whole 2018. These donuts remind me of these donuts from San Francisco, because I'm from the Bay area. They are slightly similar but I love these even more! My boyfriend and I had to come back the next day and order more for our return home, because it was just that good! They are simple and bite sized, which is perfect for a dessert craving. I loved the bacon flavor and the pear flavor(?) I totally forgot but it had a sweet citrus flavor to it. They are also made to order! so each donut is hot and fresh. Probably my favorite donut shop ever! I unfortunately didn't try their house made chai, and I opted for a vanilla latte. Pips will always have place in my heart.

We stumbled upon it while heading to grab coffee at a nearby coffee shop. Luckily we stopped in! The fresh and hot doughnuts are amazing. Definitely had a little bit of everything, but my favorite was the maple bacon. Yummy! It was the perfect amount of sweet meets savory. & did I mention they're bit sized?! Perfect for a snack and won't fill you up too quickly!

3.5 stars Its awesome that they make the donuts fresh. And the chai lattes are good, especially the King & I and the Heart of Gold. I just find that the donuts arent mindblowing and I suspect that they wouldnt be as good taken to go and eaten cold. Lastly, because the location is rather small, we spent about 20-30 mins waiting outside in the cold/rain, so it's not very motivating to go and line up again.

Yes, you come here for the doughnuts but DONT FORGET THE CHAI. There are plenty of reviews about Pip's amazing and not over-hyped donuts, so I'll focus entirely on the chai. Try the "Flight of Chai" and you will be rewarded with a sensational experience. I don't even drink tea on a regular basis or even find it appealing most of the time, but I would drink Pip's tea every day if I could. The "Smoky Robinson" was the most unique and interesting drink I've ever had. It was like drinking a campfire, which sounds scary but is so cool (or fire, I should say). The "King and I" is a more typical chai, but a familiar comfort on your chai journey. The "Ginger Rodger" wasn't my favorite of the bunch, but another nice blend of spices. The "Heart of Gold" had a great coconut flavor without being too overpowering. The "Emmylou" might have been my favorite. The lavender flavor is so refreshing. $15 might seem like a lot, but trust me when I tell you that even if I hadn't gotten the dozen donuts free for my birthday, I'd still get the flight! It's the only way to do the Pip's experience perfectly right!

Super yummy - except for the bacon one was a little weird and I like bacon.

My first time trying Pip's was the day after my birthday (before the New Year starts). They have a sign that says you get a dozen free donuts for your birthday. You can redeem up to 7 business days after. What an awesome deal! You can get any flavors you want. Just show them your ID. Thank you, Nate! The staff are so friendly, even during the busy holiday rush. Seating is limited. Line was out the door. Just be patient and you'll get your donuts eventually. Donuts are decorated so nicely and made fresh. They have a slight crunch to them. I took some donuts home and ate them later that night. They still had a crunch and still tasted delicious. I loved every bite. We've learned they have a secret menu and can make any flavors with what's on the menu. We ordered s'mores. Those were so yummy! Finally this place is off my donuts check list.

Crispy, freshly fried doughnuts paired with hot mugs of chai tea-- there's no better combo!! Pip's is a must-visit cafe when you're in Portland.

Went here around 10:30 AM on a Sunday. The donuts are made to order and very fresh. The donuts are all the same base with different toppings. The flavors are good and the drinks are also delicious.

Nice spot, their drip coffee was really smooth. To be honest their coffee was better than alot of coffee shops in the area.

F*CK BLUE STAR AND VOODOO THERE I SAID IT OKAY. Pip's is SO good!!! They're the perfect three-bite size, freshly made with just enough crispness and super fluffy/doughy inside. We've had all of them and the dirty wu/maple bacon options are by far our family's faves. In terms of chai, I had the flight (difficult to do by yourself FYI) and loved the Emmylou chai the best thanks to its herbal sweetness. OK BECAUSE IT TOOK FOREVER TO FIGURE OUT- Secret menu: rocky road (Nutella + mini marshmallows) and some Hawaiian one that I never listen to because it has fruit.

So good! Pip's is a must visit if you're coming to Portland. They're known for their mini donuts and chai which both come in many different flavors. I recommend getting the sampler of 6 where you can try each of the donut types. Some are with honey, some with sugar, some with nutella. As far as the chai, my sister really enjoyed the different flavors. Some are sweeter than others, but all were delicious. The one bad thing is that there's not a ton of seating so chairs and table space go quick! Grab them as fast as you can.

How have I lived in and around Portland my entire life without knowing about Pip's?! I saw a friend post some photos here and I instantly knew I had to go. She also said that it's a bit of a NE PDX secret treasure. IT IS AMAZING. The best part about these doughnuts is that they're made to order. The second best part is that they're little dudes, which means you can eat more with less guilt, even though you end up eating WAY more than a normal sized doughnut in the end (and I'm completely okay with this). I also love this place for their chai. It's spicy and done right! Lastly, come in on your birthday for a free dozen. I missed mine this month and I'm a little sad about it. Guess I'll have to just come back in and eat some donuts to make me feel happy again.

This is the best donut place in Portland despite the many other donuts Portland has to offer. Chai goes very well with the donuts. The flight is very big so don't over order.

To be 100% honest, I don't get the huge hype behind pips. Yes the donuts are yummy and yes the chai lattes are unique, strong, and fun! However, is it worth waiting 40+ minutes in line for on a rainy Portland day? I'm not too sure... The donuts are small so they're fun for trying out several different flavors with friends. However, I felt that all the donuts had an underlying flavor that was very distracting from the toppings that were put on them. The person I went with also agreed and said it might be due to the oil they were using (maybe we just came on a bad day). Seeing how popular this place is and how great of reviews it has, I'd love to try it again to see if we just got a wonky batch the first and only time we went. However, I won't be waiting in line for 40 minutes again, I don't think..

customer service is always top notch, the donuts are beyond words, atmosphere is one of a kind. I can't think of a negative thing to say about this place!

The best mini donuts! Loved everything we got: * Cinnamon Sugar * Candied Bacon * Nutella and Salt * The Dirty Wu * Sweet Potato The kids loved their hot chocolate drinks served in the cutest animal mugs with a generous helping of mini marshmallows. Service is great and the line moves at just the right pace for you to make a decision on what you want to order by the time you get to the counter!

Tasty!!!!!! I feel like every donut listed goes with any of the warm drinks they offer. Good food for events like birthdays and celebrations. Small seating area with a nice calm vibe to it.

Come within 7 days of your birthday and get a free dozen! (They’re small donuts.) we love the dirty wu. Chai flights are good too - my favorite is the Ginger Rogers. Be prepared to wait in line on weekends!

Fantastic place to have some delicious doughnuts, coffee, and chai!!! I love having mini dates with my daughters here. My girls also love the mini book library that pips offers. Highly recommend this place!! Come during the weekdays if you wish to miss the giant lines, although it’s still worth the wait
