Pittock Mansion is a gorgeous, historic home and museum in a beautiful setting with breathtaking views over Portland. The house itself is full of history and elegant architecture, with each room telling a unique story. Lots of fascinating historical facts relating to the family, home, and area are posted throughout the property. The gardens and surroundings, including nearby trails, make the experience special. It is a wonderful place for anyone who enjoys beautiful landscapes and local history. While tickets are expensive, this supports the maintenance required for the well-maintained property and incredible environment.
Nice views and gardens. They have a done a nice job restoring the house. Consider taking the shuttle during busier times due to limited parking.
