Quite literally closed at the most multiple random times a week, sometimes multiple times a day. It’s pretty inconvenient for a convenience store. It’s to the point where people in the neighborhood talk about how bad it is.

This Plaid Pantry store, I have experienced more then any of the other stores in the Portland Area since its location is near my home. The last ten years the manager was a women who was friendly and had the store clean well stocked and good employees. Then one day she was gone. The store has gone through a couple managers buy Today the current manager is rude. He frequently closes the store and has hired employees that do the same. The store is always out of something I plan on purchasing each visit. The manager is neither friendly or welcoming the three visits I have made when he is there by himself . He is giving Plaid Pantry a disrespect by continuing to be employed. Just as he suggested I will shop somewhere else. Thank you foryour time.

This plaid pantry is allowed to assault people if they were former employees who got proomoted at another store. Bullying is totally in line with company policy.

It's Plaid Pantry. come on. this one is well staffed and just about always working like a mini mart should. I've been in when the drunks are coming through when the homeless passing through when the smokers are out front and in all cases it's quick in and out very little hassle. All the other stores should take note. it isn't hard to provide a basic service if you just worry about the basics, have someone at the register than can speak in full sentences. This is the only spot I hit late night when driving home.Cheers

Ya know, I frequent this place in the middle of the night, and they've had some interesting folks behind the register at times, but I'm always genuinely happy to see Zac behind the counter when I walk in. The man maintains his chill attitude, lets people get what they need without rushing them, and lets nothing ruffle his feathers. That's not easy on graveyard shift in this neighborhood, and he deserves a damn medal! Try dealing with wasted people for 1 hour of your job without losing your temper, I can't, most people can't, but he manages to deal with some serious crazy for hour after hour without ever raising his voice or being rude. He makes it look effortless, but it is not. He's a master of zen...think I'm wrong? You try it!!!!!

Extremely creepy and bigoted evening guy named Zac, please stay away at night. He accuses people, especially minorities of stealing because he likes to Watch his show on his phone instead of watching the store , and oogles women. If said women responds negatively(which is common) he then gets mad at them as well. Steer clear, management does nothing to rectify complaints because of the job/shift. He(the management temps future lawsuits).

BEWARE of this location: There have been a few sketchy and emotionally unstable employees who work the late shift. Not only have I seen violent and discriminatory behavior here, but also witnessed bias personally here. (Yes, from employees)My fiancé also has felt uncomfortable at this location prior. due to Zac at this location. We spend thousands per year at this location(until now), due to the convenience(and the fact we are business owners and work late often), but will now avoid completely and recommend the same to you. This is especially the case if you are either a female, or a person of color.Customer relations has been not only lackluster, but the definition of ‘over promising, and under delivering.’Stay away until this problem is addressed.

I've had some up and downs in this town. I'm a crabber cowboy and I lose friends in my line of work. But zac the employeee for the night shift has turned the page on my day anytime I ever see him. He beautiful in his soul and I cannot stress how many times I have had such a pleasure interacting with him before my day ends. I truly love zac and look forward to seeing him before I go home wether it's a quick interaction or long one. Zac makes me want to lose faith in my marriage. But he to stand up for me to be honest. As long as zacs in this store I would defend it with my life.

The manager chose, once again, to not acknowledge me. After waiting what I feel was far too long, I said "excuse me" to which he told me "I have bigger things to do". I reminded him I am a customer to which he kicked me out. I was a regular customer just out of the convenience of this store location. Luckily, there are way more options nearby i won't be back to this poorly ran store.

Kid behind the counter just made me wait before ringing up my items so that his friends could discuss a pot pen they handed to him. As I tried to leave, he also left one of my items out of my reach so I needed to ask him for it, in order to prove that he was in charge?.. It must be difficult for them to find good employees. They also don't carry any lemon tea.
