It says 24 hours but they lock the doors at 10pm and have a bell to ring for service. No one came. Doesn’t matter because I wanted to browse the food options anyways. Nothing is really open this late to get food so this sucks. Just close at 10 if you don’t want people in the store over night.

Fully understand how difficult it is to operate a 24/7 business. That is why many businesses flake out of 24 hours. It’s a challenge but they provide that to Portland. We support Plaid Pantry!

9.30.23 @ 7:50pm:The guy at the register has now, twice, been a kinda chilly, spiteful seeming. The type of person that demands to be approached on his terms. He wants you to stand in line twice if you want anything out of the beer coolers. Once for the key, again for your purchase. I frequent about 5 different SE Plaids. This guy is something special. Not sure what he thinks he's offering the 7/11 three blocks away doesn't have but I'm certain he's lost his location money. Can't imagine how he does with LP given his inability to so much as dual-task.

Said it was open. Showed up at 830 PM and was chain locked from the inside. Saw an attendant peek through a door in the back and quickly shut it when he saw me.

This place has completely changed. After over a decade of visiting, I will not be back. Everything is now catered around the homeless coming in and stealing things and the employees are very rude.

Not much to report on a Plaid Pantry, if you've seen one, you've seen them all. This location has friendly staff for the most part. Lots of homeless people in the area.

2 brown men asked for the beer key and were told to wait until the line was done so the cashier would open it…immediately after a white guy asked for the key and was given it while the line was still wrapped around the store.Will purposely drive to a different location from now. This location has been a nightmare for a while but this was the last straw for me.

This was my first visit to a plaid pantry. I walked in and the clerk was being harassed but handled it concisely and honestly more professionally than he should have. On top of that your sandwiches are very tasty.

Overall good experience with customer service. I was sad to discover a lack of plaid panties for sale at some of their locations. They are really missing the boat on this one...

I'll never return! Guy at the register has had a real problem with my work shirts, something about them saying Chicago Italian on them. Tonight he said he wanted to rip that Chicago shirt off of me instead of saying hello as I tried to purchase a few things from this store. Wow awful customer service

The guy that works late at night on Monday has a sweet spirit and a killer aesthetic. More importantly, he's efficient and very aware of his surroundings in the middle of the night.
