Plank and Coil carries exceptional beds/ bedding but also unique and high quality furniture you most likely won't find elsewhere in Portland metro. Recently I downsized and needed furnishings that accommodate my new home. The couch, chair that doubles as a sleeper , along with other purchases exceeded my expectations. The owner is personable , knowledgeable and non pushy. I highly recommend checking out Plank and Coil when shopping for beds and furniture.

We just got a guest room bed from Dennis because we are so happy with our master bedroom bed. We also got a one-of-a-kind coffee table that’s a conversation piece in itself. Great service and great products.

This is an amazing store with an excellent variety of products including sleep options, but other products as well. I actually shopped here for some esoteric mattress parts and the owner could not have been more helpful. This is the most important distinguishing characteristic of Plank and Coil -- incredible customer service. I will be back.

All around great shopping experience. Dennis, the owner is very professional ,, and attentive to his clients needs. He pays close attention to would be buyers' financial constraints, and desires. I highly recommend Plank and Coil as a resource for natural bedding, and furniture. I can't say enough good things about the management of this store, and their comprehensive offerings in this niche market. Highly recommended.

We couldn't be happier with the service and selection. We originally bought an organic mattress online and were unhappy with the quality and returned that one. We then visited P&C and were impressed with their store and being able to test the mattresses in person made a huge difference. They worked with us on getting the softness/firmness just right by coming out several times after it was already delivered until we were happy. By far the best mattress buying experience we've ever had. Highly recommended!

Recently bought a bed frame here. Staff is friendly, pricing is great, and the delivery/installation was fantastic. The only thing I could have asked for was a way to tip the delivery guys because they put in a lot of work to put my bed together and I really appreciate it.

Was really happy with the pillow that I picked out, but when I got home I realized that I had been overcharged. Sent an email and Dennis responded promptly to rectify the discrepancy.

When you finally splurge on a great bed, Dennis is the kind of proprietor you want to buy from. Knowledgable, patient, and kind, he guided us through the maze of many types of premium beds (organic, wool, latex, etc), helping us to arrive on our perfect mattress, then working to fine-tune the firmness to our liking. We had the mattress, organic Coyuchi bedding, and handmade cherry frame delivered weeks later by his (masked) team, who put the bed together quickly and efficiently. It is exactly what our backs need and the frame is a gorgeous addition in our bedroom. We were so pleased, we became repeat customers, purchasing another bed for our son a few months later.
