I have been shopping at PACS since my now adult kids were babies. The whole reason my family was able to dress as well as we were, is because of this store. They often have food or flowers they give out to customers when you show up.There are 2 sides. One side has clothing, blankets, purses, wallets, socks, ties, bedding, cards, books, shoes, slippers...and sometimes yarn, and other craft hobby oriented supplies. The other side has patio/indoor/office furniture, kitchen supplies, framed pictures, household, mugs, baskets, electronics, office supplies, collectables, toys...and most anything you can think of. They don't always have what I'm looking for, but I know if I come back in a few days, whatever that is will be there. The prices are very reasonable, with a sliding scale 4 color tag system that includes "full price", "25% off", "50% off", ending with .25 cents. The colors change to their "next step" twice a month, and there are always new items available daily. When I would take my small children with me to the shop, I would pay them one penny per hanger they found in the store. They would scour the racks for empty hangers, and that ended up helping the volunteers who run the stores. When my girls were old enough (Jr. High age) I let them become volunteers and they learned some basic skills that have helped them eventually land paying jobs. The stores are run mostly by volunteers, and they are always looking for more help. They do great letters of reference, and have helped my kids get their very first job. There is a medical side for people who don't have healthcare readily available, but I am not as familiar with that service. All in all my family and I have benefited so much from this store. It's in my top 3 favorite thrift stores, and would highly recommend it to anyone who has a limited clothing budget like we do.A tip.....Their cart supply doesn't usually allow for each person to use one. If you need one, I usually wait at the front of the line where people check out, and when someone is done using theirs, I take it off their hands. They will also take any paper or plastic bags you don't need, as they use them when customers check out.

This is a great thrift store as they are well stocked with a variety of items and a second building with household items. PACS also has a food pantry and when you go in the front door of the thrift store you will also find free baked goods. Prices are very reasonable and customer service is good.

I've been coming to this store for many years! I just love this place! Great prices, awesome selection and amazing staff! I'd like to recognize one particular staff member that stands out. Her name is Allie and she can be found most days in the book room sorting out books and adding to the seldom empty bookshelves. Since she started working there the book department has become so much easier to navigate! Also, she really takes pride in her work and takes interest in the customers. She even asked me my name and asked me what kind of books I like! When I come so when I visit, she can point me in the right direction. I buy a lot of books from PACS because I sell books for a living. In the past, I would shop at PACS about twice a month. Now I'm there nearly every day directly because its so much better because of her energy there! Keep up the amazing work! I appreciate you!

While I haunt this thrift weekly and never leave empty handed since it is a fundraiser for a food bank (plus my mom is an Adventist and I have good feelings about them generally), it is a very old fashioned charity shop with unusual things and good prices. The music they play is pretty cloying, most often that type of light fake-classical elevator music dentists offices would play in the 80s, so that's a trip. Most of the regular volunteers are absolutely lovely, but a new one was extraordinarily passive aggressive with me for no reason - which I get because it's a volunteer position and people can be jerks - she overcharged me for the exact amount of the bill I was holding in my hand rather than the sum of the items I had and made no effort to correct her mistake when I called her attention to it. I'm sort of used to people doing things like this recently bc I cut my hair short and it seems people infer something from that and act in an ugly, bigoted way, so take that for what you will.

It was interesting that one person commented on the rudeness of the staff. And when I went there, the one time, that was the one, single, salient message I took back with me. RUDE! RUDE! I'm not used to being treated like a nuisance. But, I won't be back. And oddly, I had a cardio-emergency this same week, ended by a ER trip to PAC on Division. What I took away at the time, when I left, was the RUDENESS of much of the ER staff, not all, but far too many! Rudeness is inexcusable any time, any place.

The prices seem super reasonable, most of the shirts are around $4. A major downside is that none of the clothing is organized by size, so it takes quite awhile to look through.

This thrift store has raised their prices so much over the past year. It’s competing with the ridiculous goodwill prices in this area. I thought thrift was supposed to be affordable for all. 7 dollars for a scratched up tiny xylophone toy for kids?! I could buy a brand new one for 3 dollars more. It’s a disservice to the community to price things so high. I’ve noticed a lot of their stuff is sitting and the store is getting piled up, and price is probably why.
