Great experience with Public Storage on Lombard! Staff was friendly and helpful, and my items remained completely secure and undamaged (I stored from December to the following August). The storage unit was very clean.

I was a loyal customer for about 5 years at this location. Did not get climate control unit. I was offered a free month, then 75 bucks and now it increased to 359, whoa. Expect it to increase every 3-4 months as per public storage policy. My issues: They drilled under my unit causing dirt and debris/corrosion to come into my unit, with the gap it allowed rodents to go inside. They had to set up rat poison after I informed them. I left my belongings, came back and discovered a massive rat decaying in my belongings. There was urine, rat feces, dust, debris, mold all over my belongings. There was NO food in my unit either. I had a fear of going back to this hazardous environment as I have extreme allergies. After the move out, I was told to review and I will be missed even after informing them. This was very emotionally damaging as sentimental items were damaged/ move out was time consuming for cleaning/extra money for the dump. I really hope to resolve this issue as I was paying over 309 per month for this, and then they increase it even more thats why I moved out.
