Such a frustrating waste of time! Came in a few months ago to rent a small storage space signed up for the “ Pay One Dollar 1st month promotion” we were told it will be around 35-40 2nd month and going forward however that was definitely not the case 2nd month we were asked to pay around 75 which we paid reluctantly then 3rd month we were asked to pay 89 and that is when I lost it! Called C.S they advised us that we were never put on a promotion and our rate selected by the previous property manager was 54 per month! Mind you this was for the smallest 5x5 unit! What Erk’s me the most is this was my senior mothers unit crazy how they must take advantage of other seniors as well. I called back and one more time trying to find a solution and I was told that they were going to escalate our situation ,even the rep on the phone call admitted that he felt something was not right and he could not believe why we were not given the promo to begin with. However we never got a call from upper management or anyone. We still have no resolution it’s been over 3 months . Do yourself a favor Avoid this location at all cost lots don’t fall for the fake reviews. It seems like it’s only a good deal if you get in/out within first month anything longer is how they completely screw you over. We will not pay them and will take this as far up as it needs to go. Such a frustrating waste of time! They just lost a life long customer.

I recently "tried" to book an appointment with the property manager at 8437 SW Barbur Blvd. In Portland,Oregon. My initial appointment was on September 21, 2023 but was unable to make that appointment. I called back and set the apptmont for the same time (3:30pm) for the folling day. I showed up but the PM didn't. Didn't call back either after I left several messages. They say "your business is important to us". Obviously not.Terrible customer service and even worse customer service from the PM.Attention: PM you only have to work from 1-6pm it would have been nice if you returned my ca. Maybe Property management isn't your strongest skill.Jeff Glowacki

Samir and me had a easy time renting a space with the manager. The lady was friendly showing us everything. The place was busy, clean and I feel my mom is safe to go there by herself

Such great customer service at this location. Lexi was at 10. I needed some help with moving supplies. Lexi answered all my questions and only sold me what I needed.Excellent service!

I started my rental almost 4 years ago it is a 7.5×10 at that time it cost 96.00 then about 2yrs later my rent was increased to 135.00 a month now they are raising it to 172.00 and I am moving out! We hardly go there and have never caused any problems they do not value our business or that our rent was never late not once. I understand a rate increase is standard on most things yearly but they rent this unit for under 100 a month on there website plus a free month. So to me moving out is a no brainer yes a hassel but I do not trust a company that holds no value for there customers my money will be better spent on storage that values my business

My unit at Public Storage at 8437 SW Barbur Blvd, Portland, OR 97219 is 75 s.f. and the monthly rent has been jacked up from $125 in late 2021 to $172 last month. The would make it's cost per sq. ft. more expensive than renting a very big, nice house.They've told me that there is no set rule for how much you'll pay monthly. They might jack you up 10% or maybe 20%. If you're paying on time and they're not having trouble , she told me that they are even more likely to raise your rent even higher.The person at the counter even told me that they can raise your rent as often and as much as they feel like.What can you say about a business where the facility desk jockey tells you that it probably isn't the right thing to do, but they'll do it to you when ever they feel like and by any amount that they choose?I'm looking for another storage facility nearby. I would like to say something nice about the people at Pubic Storage, but it's hard to say something nice about a company that has a policy of screwing it's customers.It's sad, but I recommend that you look somewhere else.

Rented a storage unit starting in May of 2022. Rent was $188 per month. Increased to $226 in August of 2022 and then May 2023 increased it to $316! I was told it was due to the going rate and increase in the cost to run the property. Insane that in the span of a year the rent increased $128 per month!

I had an appointment for a unit. I showed up and the door is locked. Nobody’s in the office. It’s 3:15pm and it’s 44 degrees outside. I’ve been waiting for 30 minutes. Wish I could speak about the service but there is none.

Other then someone working at the location that my unit is at , having a hard time talking to a live person was my only complaint. Being a smaller location they have different hours so when I would come in I had a hard time actually talking to somebody. Everything thing else was great once I was able to actually speak with someone they were great , very helpful .

I chose this location for location and appeared to be very secure with the entry and exit gates requiring a code to access and log entries. I had a large exterior unit storing all my contents for about 15 months. The place went downhill as the grounds were never cleaned with a leaf blower or a human walking around to pick up for a year. Leaves, cobwebs and trash built up making it nasty when accessing unit with wind blowing debris inside my contents. Fall of 22 they finally cleaned and painted I believe with new management taking over. Unfortunately, soon after my unit and I believe other were broken into. I incurred several thousand $$$ loss. Police report was filed. The revolving management thereafter never answered their phones, returned calls and refused to assist me with information in their supposed investigation after reviewing of their videos or access logs. My insurance company advised to move my contents which I did recently. Upon vacating, we noticed the roof had insulation holes and debris was on the ground. I noticed contents had moisture while unpacking. Clearly this place has the worst maintenance and security and just interested in collecting your monthly rent. ADVICE! FIND ANOTHER STORAGE COMPANY THAT IS REPUTABLE.

I just started using this place today! So far I'm enjoying it! I like that you get to take care of things contactless! My only complaint so far is that i had trouble getting the elevator to take me to my floor. Other then that things have been great. I can't wait to move the rest of my things in!
