I don’t shop here usually because the prices are terrible but I just needed to grab a few things. I also way buying beer and the lady who checked my ID said I guess that kind of looks like you. They did a good job on your prosthetic face. I assume it was a joke but it did not translate that way and just left me feeling uncomfortable. Will not be coming here again

I’ve never been all that compelled to write a review before today, but they just installed some locking cases here—they’ve been spreading all over town like a cancer—and Kroger can F right off with those. Locked cases are annoying everywhere, but particularly here since no employees even seem to work at this store except a security guard and a single person at self check most of the time.
Anyways, this place kinda sucks and has limited selection. Shopping here makes you feel a little bit like a criminal.

So I try to avoid this store at all costs because they are the worst store in Sellwood. That being said, it was the only close option as my wife and I walked to get dinner and then walked to QFC to get some items(snacks, hard seltzer) for our dog sitters that are staying while we will be out of town. The long haired fellow that was running the U-Scan apparently decided that I was intoxicated(which I wasn't, I actually said nothing) and told my wife that he could sell to her but not me, on our way out the door, and said "next time get the message" whatever that is supposed to mean? Anyways, this QFC sucks. Nobody in the neighborhood actually likes going here. It's like a big plaid pantry except the people at plaid pantry have better customer service. People in Sellwood go here out of convenience only. I will continue to avoid this place and spend my money elsewhere.

Tac-ed out security followed me through the store. I felt safer when the homeless crews were posted up outside instead tbh. The quality keeps going down here.

Abysmal customer service. Have had multiple bad experiences but tonight was the final straw. One of the worst grocery stores I've ever been to on the west coast. The only reason I'll give it 2 stars is because the bakery and deli are decent, but the rest of the store and staff are ridiculous. I'll happily take my shopping to Fred Meyer in Milwaukie or Safeway in Woodstock. Place is a joke.

This store is by far about the best & close to the only one that I like to shop at really anymore. The employees are all kind, considerate, & respectful to everyone who comes there, no matter if they are homeless & just need to use the restroom, to someone who obviously is well off they both are spoken to respectfully & not judged. Unlike nearly every other store still here in Portland, specifically SE Portland. Most remaining stores here employee some people who do not know what respect or common courtesy is & should not be working in the roles that they are in. I know several who should honestly be fired for the interactions I have witnessed between them & customer(s), they were that awful truly. I choose to go outta my way taking more time & gas to do so just to avoid having to shop at these other stores with the worst employees & really can't afford it but will continue doing so. Sellwood"s QFC may be the smallest QFC I've ever seen but they still carry everything I need or want for most part, & what ain't there I can have my husband get from one of the awful stores, lol! No, but I'd rather shop here in the smallest QFC, that's outta my neighborhood & a bit of a drive for us to get to them have to listen to or see the disrespect & hatefulness that you get from the employees at other local stores. KEEP IT UP PLEASE QFC, YOU GUY'S ARE THE LAST HOPE FOR PORTLAND GROCERY STORES & DO NOT WANT IT TO CHANGE OR CLOSE & THANKS TO ALL THE KIND, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL EMPLOYEES WORKING THERE!!! THEY ALL DESERVE A BIT OF A RAISE OR BONUSES IN OUR (my husband & I) OPINIONS!! FROM SAD, OLD, SE PORT-LAND-ERS WHO WISH IT ALL CHANGE BACK FOR THE BETTER OF ALL LIVING HERE, U HOLD OUT OUR LAST LITTLE BIT OF HOPE & POSSIBILITIES OF EVER RETURNING TO SUCH, THANK YOU ALL & GOD BLESS EVERYONE OF YOU TOO!!!!?

I had a bad experience at this grocery store I was shopping and was ready to checkout and I asked to use the bathroom. And when the came back the manager some heavy set lady put all my items back in the freeze I was only gone for about 5 minutes and came to purchase my items I was highly upset because I had reshop all my items I told the guy and lady I would only be about 5 minutes in the rest room an they said my stuff would be fine and it wasn’t fine me and my pregnant shop here all the time the lady was really mean and racist I will not be shopping here anymore and my family will not be shopping here either. You should treat your customers better with respect

Clean place. But, they were short on checkers so everyone had to use self checkout. Love the store tho.

I often arrive at this store 10 min before close for 1-2 items. If i'm let in they grumble at me. Tonight I arrived at 12:48 a.m. thinking "I made it"! But no, the store was locked and an employee yelled to me that they're closing. If your business is not truly open until 1a.m. please list your hours accurately. Very frustrating and unprofessional. The groceries themselves are fine, but the checkout is consistently understaffed.
