About Quest Diagnostics

Quest Diagnostics offers routine lab tests, blood and urine testing, pediatric specialty services, and COVID-19 antibody testing by appointment. The facility is located next to the pharmacy inside a Safeway store and is convenient for public transit. While some patients find the online and phone appointment system difficult or impossible to use, others report it is easy to schedule. Reviews frequently highlight a specific phlebotomist noted for being wonderful, skilled, calm, patient, kind, friendly, professional, and quick. This technician is praised for expertly drawing blood without leaving a bruise, even with elusive veins, and for providing helpful, personal assistance when orders were missing. The service is generally described as quick, friendly, and professional, with one patient reporting an 11-minute visit. Overall, the location is viewed as convenient, though some feel the system needs upgrading to be more human-centric.

Excellent experience. Angela has done this a few times, lol. It was speedy, friendly, painless, and actually kind of fun. Very pleasant experience, easy check-in. Probably my favorite blood draw in the past 20 years.

Angela the technician is awesome! She is incredibly patient focused and her demeanor is calm and confident. She's easily the best person I've had who does my blood draws. Thank you Angela!
