We rented a Forest River Sunseeker and had a great experience.
This was our first time with an RV, we appreciated the quick run through upon pickup and the packet of info we received, but it could have been even more thorough. There was definitely some trial and error/watching YouTube videos for solutions on the road.
We took this thing across 7 states over 2.5 weeks and didn’t have any major issues. The low oil warning did pop up, so we took care of that ourselves.
We thought everything was pretty comfortable - seats, beds, etc. Price was very reasonable and by far the best we found. We would absolutely rent again.

We had a wonderful experience with the motorhome we rented from these folks. They do an excellent job of preparing and maintaining the motorhomes. They give fast, friendly service. The motorhomes all seem fairly new and in great shape. I highly recommend them. We will definitely be renting from them again in the near future.

GREAT company to rent from, this will be our 3rd year in a row renting a motorhome for our family campout. Great selection, price, and communication.

I'm familiar with RVs, but have never rented one. I looked at other companies, but Rent RV had the best out the door price, and best communication from Lori and the owner. We rented the 31 foot Sun Seeker C class to go from Portland to the Oregon coast.
Overall, I'm very happy with the experience. The checkout process was very easy, and the rules/guidelines are very fair. You don't have to refill propane, and you just have to leave the gas at the same level. You do get water and sewer hoses, and a cord, but no coaxial cable (if you plan on having cable TV). You also get enough toilet chemicals to dump twice.
The RV drove quite well and got about 8.6 MPG on the Oregon coast with a lot of stop and go driving.
I would definitely rent again from Rent RV. It was conveniently located near the airport, and there were no hidden charges or surprises. We did have an issue with the shower door, but they were more than accommodating and made it right!

Started out great with the owner being very responsive to questions prior to the rental, and they were very accommodating in getting my rental earlier than expected. The three stars has to do with problems we experienced with the RV, and the lack of communication back from the company. The first issue was that the screen door was missing a panel, so it had a big hole for bugs to get through. Owner said they would reimburse me if we purchased a replacement panel, but I didn’t have time for that do I made one myself.
Second issue, and the nastiest one, is that the black tank valve leaked into the dump pipe so wherever I removed the drain cap, sewage would immediately leak out. This was both disgusting and embarrassing, but I started to place an open garbage bag under the pipe to catch the sewage so I wasn’t making a mess of the campsite.
Third issue was the house battery breaker would trip (don’t know why), so everything was running off the RV battery. We were woken up very early one morning by a low battery alarm. It was lucky that the battery was tripped when I picked up the RV because it meant Ramiro had to reset it and I saw how it was done.
Fourth, the RV needed an oil change. When I picked it up it said 10% oil life remaining. Midway through our trip, every time I started the engine, there was a “change oil” warning.
Lastly, be aware the Sunseeker 2250 LE is fairly basic with poor build quality (not the fault of RentRV). The mattresses are quite firm, there are no leveling or stabilizing jacks so the RV rocks wherever someone rolls over, and there are loose screws and loose panels in many places. We might rent from RentRV again, but probably not the same RV unit.

I always like to start with the positives. This company was quick to get us a trailer for a raining weekend trip we had planned long ago. Responded to emails after hours and got us what we needed.
All we really needed was shelter so I didn’t care too much that they blew through the how-to use portion and gave me no paper instructions.
When we get to the camp site everything seems to go well. Pulled out the awning and the slide out. One day in and the fridge begins beeping. The fridge is ran by the propane (which was full) and the battery (which I assumed was full). I was told that the beeping is indicative that it’s not working. No good. I click the little gauge which says battery level 1/3. The older Hispanic man who gave me the run down said those aren’t always accurate and we should be fine.
So now I’m walking around the campsite asking for help so our food doesn’t spoil. A generous camper plugs in their generator and let us charge up (using his gas for an hour) and the beeping stop.
The weekend gets cold and we think hey let’s run the heater. Turn on the thermostat and nothing. Had another camper come over and mess with it. Turns out the sensor was reading inaccurately and was saying it’s hot and preventing the heater from running. Took the sensor off, heat starts no worries.
Not impressed so far. The next morning we wake up to the fridge beeping again at 6am waking everyone up. Generator guys helps again, the beeping stops after running it another hour.
Last day camping, packing up the trailer and the awning and slide out won’t close. We run the generator, click all the buttons, turn things on turn things off. Nothing. Another camper has a battery charger and plugs it in. That seems to do the trick.
When returning the trailer I explain all the mishap to Lori, she goes to the Blazer fan boss and I hear him say the battery was dead. She tells me I need to talk to Randall. I wait 15 min and talk to Randall. He gives me a 15 min run down of which things the generator runs and which thing the battery runs and how I should have plugged in the trailer to a battery source so that it doesn’t deplete. I said that’s kind of an important thing that should have been emphasized when I picked up the trailer (or included in any type of instructions) he said you live and you learn (no remorse or plan to make the situation right) I told him if I was camping by myself in the forest I would have had to leave the trailer due to this situation making them drive to who knows where to come pick it up. He said we would go pick it up and charge you for it. I thanked the man for his time and left his sight. Would not recommend this company.

The company was responsive and got us a trailer quickly, but that’s where the positives end. We received little instructions, had constant power issues, a fridge that kept beeping, a broken heater sensor, and had to rely on fellow campers just to get by. When I reported the problems, the staff offered no solutions—just excuses. If you don’t want your camping trip turned into a troubleshooting nightmare, look elsewhere. Would not recommend.
This is a summary, see LeAndreas review for the details.

Recently made a trip down to San Diego from PDX. This is one of the most amazing outfits to rent from. From the linen and kitchen packages to the 24/7 support. They take the time to show you the rig, and the environment is second to none. I highly recommend Bruce and all of his associates. It was an amazing trip.

We rented a forest river sunseeker 2850 for a trip down to California to visit family and explore yosemite. We had few minor issues with the equipment but nothing worth mentioning and it certainly didn't impact our trip. The entire staff was professional, friendly, and informative from the moment I considered renting an rv, to when I had to call and ask for help as an uninitiated rver, to when I dropped off the rv and realized I had forgotten some items later that night. It was a great experience and we certainly plan on booking with them the next time we go on a family adventure.

Overall, we had a very good experience with the RV and host. It was in perfect mechanical shape and suited our needs well with 5 adults. We had one minor thing come up, but Rent RV handled it in a way that was more than fair, which says a lot about their customer service. I would definitely rent from them again and recommend them to others.
One note: our RV was delivered completely empty: no toilet paper, no bedding, no utensils, etc. That was fine for us, but just want to make sure you're ready to bring your own things. They also have them available as an add-on.

List your prices! I don’t want to have to call for every one I might be interested in. Really inconvenient.

The team at Rent RV did a nice job of helping select the right RV for my trip. They provided detailed information on the vehicle and offered flexible pick up and drop off times. Appreciate very much Bruce and Ramiro's commitment to customer service.

When I spoke to the owner on the phone he said I could cancel up to 15 days prior with no cancelation fees. What he did not tell me is that he does not return the $800 deposit! Very choice wording and very deceitful!
