How about when you come in every month to try and get your mortgage loan processed. Then, I found out it wasn't with no call or heads up. Then their 3rd party loan services hang up on you and sound like scam callers who have no access to your account information but want you to pay over the phone. Then, after 7 months of trying to get the payments processed, they put you in foreclosure and charge you an additional $5,000.00 to reinstate your loan. When you prove to them you have been trying to resolve the situation every month. They say there's nothing they can do and to speak with their attorneys. Watch out, people! I'm pretty sure they just want to add ten years to the loan and increase your interest rates. Look out for Clear Recon, Dovenmhule, Aldridge & Pite, and Wells Fargo!!! Just sayin.

Don't trust them. Always be cautious in every move with a bank. Everything is a contract and you have to read everything twice and ask questions! Don't forget, yes it is a credit union so there are benefits and positives due to that, but it still operates like a bank. I've come here for many years and I got comfortable but I won't promote Rivermark or probably credit unions in general over banks anymore. Someone might get the idea that they can trust the institution. Get the wrong type of loan and you'll pay an astronomical amount of interest in the first payment and still have the same balance to pay. And just like every other bank who gives unsecured personal loans, you're not going to know the pitfall unless you're really looking for it or if you are fully educated about loans. No one is going to go out of their way to help you understand that and they are there to make money, your hard earned money.

Very good and friendly customer service! It’s nice having a credit union close by. They also accept coin deposits, which seems to be a rarity now! The app is a little outdated, but no big complaints.

Incredulous that they have to pull your credit to open a checking account. What a discriminatory and antiquated practice. Closing this account after the member bonus drops. Any of the many online banks provide a smoother, less confusing process to enrollment. Check out Chime.

Went in on a Saturday to get an auto loan. Only took my husband name and information for loan and I was also purchasing the car. Was told to open an account with the bank over the weekend and to email the banker the information once that was done. Did that same day. Monday my husband called to check on the status person who answered did not see anything in the system. The banker sent an email saying my ID was needed since I was on the Title however I wasn't on the loan so this made no sense. I sent that first thing Wed morning. Thursday came around and nothing several emails and phone calls finally we cancelled the loan application. No contact with Banker since Tuesday. Person who my husband spoke to on Thursday said that its supposed to be a 24 hr turn around time and we were already told the loan was approved just needed to send docusign papers. Not happy bad customer service from this banker. Car lot let us take the car in good faith now another trip to dealership to change paperwork. Do better next time

Do not bank with this credit union. They told me my card was frozen, as I had asked for, then they allowed it to transact anyway. I didn't find out until months later. When I asked about it, they initially said there were no transactions, even though there were. Their response below is a continued attempt to deceive. I do not trust this company at all and neither should you.
