Recently, I had the honor of participating in the Launch Mid-Valley Startup Bootcamp Weekend—an incredible gathering of entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds, all striving to take our businesses (or business ideas) to the next level. And that’s exactly what happened for me!
As a newcomer to business ownership, this event—hosted by Malee Ojua and her phenomenal team—introduced me to concepts and principles I hadn’t even realized I needed to know. But what truly set this experience apart was how the materials were presented in a way that I could confidently apply to my own journey.
Each presenter delivered invaluable insights and practical tools, tailored to help us visualize and implement them—regardless of how different our businesses were from theirs. On top of that, having mentors available throughout the weekend was a game-changer. They answered questions, provided guidance, and offered fresh perspectives that challenged my own limited views.
Malee, in particular, was an incredible support system—especially when crunch time hit! When I got stuck on an assignment by taking it too literally, she leveraged her years of expertise to break it down in a way that clicked for me. That moment alone boosted my confidence and helped me gain a clearer understanding of who I am as an entrepreneur, empowering me to stay true to the core and essence of what I offer.
I had been searching for a space where I could connect with like-minded individuals—people who would challenge me, cheer me on, and genuinely want to see me succeed. This bootcamp was exactly that! It provided the perfect environment to build relationships, create community, learn from seasoned business owners, and pour the heartbeat of Tamika into every interaction.
The value I gained from this weekend FAR exceeded the monetary investment. The resources and insights Malee shared are already shaping my journey and propelling Tamika L. Herbert to the next dimension.

I had the privilege of participating in the Launch Mid Valley Bootcamp hosted by SacredFire, and it was a truly life-changing experience. Over the years, I've attended numerous start-up and entrepreneurial events across various cities, including Bend, known for its thriving start-up culture, but none have been as impactful as this one.
Malee and her incredible team of mentors created an outstanding, welcoming environment for growth. Their expertise, combined with the safe and supportive space they fostered, helped every participant in our cohort thrive. I learned something valuable from each mentor and found the collaboration and personal growth in the room to be truly inspiring.
The speakers Malee brought in were fantastic. As a B2B, I’ve struggled to find ways to integrate social impact and purpose into my business. Thanks to the insights and stories shared by several high-level speakers, everything finally clicked. I had a moment of clarity that made the path ahead seem crystal clear. While I now have that clearer vision, I know I will continue to test and refine my ideas, always seeking feedback.
I also want to thank Malee for keeping the cost of the program accessible. It’s rare to find such a valuable and impactful program at a reasonable price, and I appreciate the effort to secure sponsorships and connections that helped keep participation fees equitable. Ensuring access for all is essential to building a strong, supportive community, and Malee and her team have done an excellent job of making that happen.
I came into the boot camp with the goal of stepping outside my comfort zone, and I can confidently say that I achieved that—and more. Malee should be incredibly proud of her investment in this program, and I’m already looking forward to next year!

The Mid Valley Launch Boot Camp was Great! Meeting, talking, and listening to many others who are in the making/growing their own businesses also. Getting ideas, sharing ideas and supporting others in a smaller group has more value the going to a lecture with one hundred people. Malee and Mike coordinating the quality speakers, mentors, and food supplied, left me with feeling confident and valued allowing me to make changes to my business plan/direction.

Just completed the Startup Bootcamp Weekend in McMinnville, OR and it was awesome! Incredible speakers and great company were complimented by the push to achieve strong results in a single weekend. I was nervous to sign up but all of that went away as soon as I walked into the building and saw everyone's excitement. Desk mate was great, multiple mentors helped me visualize and refine my pitch, the food was fantastic.
Great time! Highly recommend it!

I recommend Sacred Fire Creative. They were courteous, on time finishing projects, and always followed up in a timely manner. If there needed to be clarification on a project they scheduled a meeting and walked thru any additional questions etc. The team was available and willing to help with any project. WOW! I've been working with Malee and her team for just about a month and it has been an excellent experience. I feel heard by all of the team members and they have been able to accomplish in a month what I have not been able to accomplish in almost 10 years of searching for the right marketing people who understand what I do and who my ideal client is! In fact, in just this one short month, I have had three new clients! While for some businesses that may not seem like much, however, I am an attorney in a very niche practice area, accepting only adoption and adoption related cases. Three women came in to prepare adoption plans in the span of a few days. This tells me that whatever magic the team is using is working. I wholeheartedly recommend Malee and her team at Sacred Fire Creative!
