Have canceled on me now twice. First time was 2 hours into my appointment window and now they came out got setup and told me they can't do it cause a sticky piece won't stay on the windshield. After sitting around all day waiting for them. Not single person quality checked the piece of glass. I have one day off a week and they have now pissed away two of my days off. And yet they still have the audacity to try and upsell me on windshield wipers. Now they are telling me they can't get to me for another week and it won't be until the afternoon they can get out to install it after they keep screwing up cant even give me an appointment in the morning. To be clear the technician was not the issue. If i was you I would take my busy somewhere else. Only reason I'm using them is cause that's who my insurance goes through but I'm about to cancel it and pay out of pocket elsewhere. Company doesn't care about making things right.

They play games with customers. I went there in Feb 2024 for simple tiny v small chip on my car’s windshield. They told me if I pay on my own without insurance will cost me $179, while if I pay through my insurance, will cost the insurance $65. It is really funny because I shopped around and found auto glass shops charge as low as $45. Since I have comprehensive full coverage insurance with StateFarm, I told them to cover it through my insurance. At their front desk, I checked in and gave them ALL info they requested about my car and my insurance, and they checked the chip and CONFIRMED that my insurance will cover it. Also called my StateFarm insurance and they CONFIRMED it will be covered. The job was done and the chip was fixed. After one month, the SafeLight sent me a bill asking me to pay , while my insurance is valid?

Worst service I have ever experienced. First windshield replacement - not sealed properly, and my rain sensor is not working. Called on the warranty to have them come fix it. They "worked on it" for 2.5 hours and not only did they not fix my windshield, but they BROKE OFF my rear view mirror in the process. Their "solution" was to have me drive around with no rear view mirror for 2-3 weeks until they could bring a new windshield to fix it for a third time. After several phone calls, they came out the next day and "fixed" it for a third time. Come to find out, they weren't able to fix the rain sensor and their excuse was that the sensor was "sun baked". Interesting, considering it worked perfectly fine before they got their hands on it. I also found it interesting that the tech drove my car without my permission. I understand needing to re-locate the vehicle to a place that works better for them, but I never authorized them to do that. I would have moved the car myself had they asked. Overall, I regret the day I ever called this place. Their customer service is horrendous and for a company with "safe" in the name, they most certainly don't give a flying F about your safety.

I tried to get a mobile repair done with them several months ago but it was unavailable. Glad I waited because they now offer it. So easy to schedule online. The tech called in the morning to give me an arrival window. He showed up on time and was courteous and friendly. He repaired two cars quickly and they look great -- can't tell where the chips were! No charge since I scheduled through our insurance. I would recommend them!

Safelite Auto Glass Technician Voltz did a wonderful job on my windshield. I highly recommend this company and if I need anymore glass work I will definitely use them again. Showed up at 1:30 and had my windshield replaced and calibrated by 3:00.

Extremely frustrated. I booked an appt, of course they are super booked up so I booked it for more than a week out. I was okay waiting in the meantime. The morning of the service the tech calls me and in the confirmation we find out the wrong glass piece was ordered. They let me know they need to order the main back glass piece I actually needed and it would be another 5 business days. I had already waited and moved work travel plans specifically around this fix. There were so many things that could have happened to prevent this, its honestly ridiculous for a large company like this. Will never use them again in the future.

Freindly people. I was able to check in early and only waites about 5 mins until one of the techs came out and grabbed me. He took a look a the rock chip and was able to have me in and out in 20 mins. (I was 2 hours early for my appt) great work done.

I went online to get a quote. It was around 400.00 for a quarter panel on a 98 Windstar van. This was alot of money to us as we are both retired and living off of minimal social security checks. I decided to take it to them, found a promo code, and explained I didn't need any recycling as the window was totally blown out. That brought me down to around 360.00. My kind neighbors were going to pay for it but I felt it was way and beyond for someone to do. I was thinking maybe at this price we could do half and half. I made the appointment for a Wednesday, Tuesday they called and said they are not making it any more. I asked if they had any recommendations. They referred me to a place in New York that would have been 375.00 just for the window no installation. (This was for a New window which Safelite said wasn't made)When I asked Safelite if they could install it if I found a window they said they " don't do labor work". I still don't know what that meant. Feeling defeated I once again went online and found Mikes Auto Glass. He is local, smaller business and he was incredible! He found a glass in Portland, I picked it up and he installed it the next day. Window fixed, total cost 200.00 and he came to our house and installed.

Install went fine except for the following. They forgot to hook the windshield washer hose back up, which was not a huge issue.I took it back, and they fixed it. What was an issue was the jittery scratch on the driver's side window pillar. They claimed it was already there, but I know it wasn't. It was done by the bottom edge of the glass as it was being lowered in place. I would bet my last dollar on it. All said, I ended up with a noticeable scratch on my car that I didn't have, and I lost roughly 6 hours of time split over two days. NOT a good experience.

NEVER AGAIN...Sure they may have a "proprietary installation sealant and technique " like no other..and claiming to be the best.But when they forgot you sitting in their waiting room for 5 hours, till closing, kick your car out of the shop, close the doors lock up , quickly hand you the keys and say "its done, goodbye" only to find your car interior completely covered in sticky old sealant chucks and noone around to clean it up,ILL NEVER RETURN OR RECOMMEND THIS SPECIFIC SHOP.!! ..shady shady shady.

They scratched my dash, broke my wiper, rubber seal around windshield blew off. Called them 2 times to see what they can do about this and was told manager would call. Guess what (NO CALLS) will not recommend to anyone.

Went in for a windshield replacement came out with a broken moon roof. They claim the damage was caused by a "pinecone"and would not be covered. (I don't have any trees at my house!) After a week of going back and forth I have given up. I had to come to the conclusion that some companies don't care about clients or about doing the right thing."Safelite repair Safelite disgrace"

It was easy to make an appointment online. They sent me several reminders regarding my appointment, so that was nice. There was no wait for my appointment. The staff was friendly. They did a great job. And most importantly, it was a really quick visit. Recommend.

I will never use these people again. The worker was fine, the administrative end of the business is incompetent and untruthful.
