Great store for just getting stuff when you need it, but it is pretty expensive.
Overall has everything you need though

Went to get a cake for an occasion today. Asked if they could write on cake (Happy blah blah) and they refused to do it… first time I have this experience from Safeway/Albertsons… if u want writing on your cake, don’t go to this location!

Absolutely blown away with the quality of our birthday cake!
Pretty decoration and the cake was moist and delicious.
The bakery even reached out to me before hand to confirm on the notes I left.
Highly recommend!

This is my favorite Safeway in this area. It seems to be well managed, organized, and a good choice of products at decent prices.

I would shop at Safeway more often if the cashiers didn't insist on pushing their Safeway cards on me. Every. Single. Time. Sure, you can save money on groceries with the card, but all the money I save would have to go to chiropractics after I throw my back out from having an overstuffed wallet in my back pocket. That's right, I have a strict, no-more-plastic-in-my-wallet policy. Most of the cashiers seem to think I'm joking. They routinely try to give me a card. I hand it back. They try to slip it in my bag. I throw it away later. Sometimes, they use a card they keep in the register to show me the savings in a weird, guilt-trippy way. Are they cashiers or pushers? I just want to pay and go. I don't want the whole savings card thing. It's annoying. Isn't it funny how something as silly as a little piece of plastic intended to offer savings/discounts can make a person avoid the place?

More cashiers needed at this store. It's ridiculous that they seem to always have one person or two the most. The one guy who is always there needs to learn customer service. Unfriendly and very slow. One should not stand a long time to pay for groceries. Not acceptable!

Spent five minutes standing at the bottle return right next to two associates on break. All I overheard was how good they were and how they want to move up. I asked them if they could help with the bottle return machines as they were both full, they said "Sorry man, yeah we're on break. I did hear someone call the courtesy clerk". When they finally finished their vape, he told me "Wish I had a key man because I'd totally help you out man. I'm going to go get an energy drink then find someone to come out and help." Oh yeah, another guy came out and told the two that he was going on break. The courtesy clerk finally came after I went in and asked. He had no idea what to do. He walked at a snails pace and tried to push down the bottles and cans in the bins then finally said. "I think the sensors need to be cleaned...". That was it. The trash on the ground at the machines was piled up two feet up the wall and took over half the ground space in front of the machines. Not one person cleaned up the area. The two guys on break, the guy going on break and the clerk that couldn't fix the machine. Shows you what type of leadership exists at the store. Inside the store, every single line was five customers deep down the aisles. No one seemed in an urgent mode of work. No courtesy clerks available to expedite things. I wouldn't be so frustrated to the point of leaving a bad Yelp review but this store is always this way. Every time we go back we just hope it is a different experience. I don't know why we punish ourselves. But the other Safeway is on 185th and out of our way and QFC is overpriced.

Safeway's Cedar Mill Locale has one word for this store iber all: Professionalism. Their idea of working together brings teamwork, which brings success in the lifestyle of customers who frequent for their daily needs, dinners, and needed items in the home. All the smiles received is a blessing for all who enter this establishment. Keep up the great work from Rick Edmunds and staff!

!!! Expired food!!!! The juice is expired. The customer service is 0 of 5 if I can give the start as 0. They will not give store credit if they don't return the money to a credit card. They said Store policy, well, the food policy is that not allowed to sell expired food at all. For sure, I won't shop there if I don't have to.

#### Buyer Beware ##### I am a long time Safeway shopper. I come from the same city in CA as where safeway was born and I support them whenever I can. While caring for my aged Mother in Vancouver Wa I purchased two potted orchids at Safeway. One was beautiful and one died all at once the next day. No problem I thought, I'll just return it out here where I work. The floral department representative tells me they don't take returns for other stores, you must return it where you bought it (I had the receipt). Furthermore, she goes on to say they only stand behind plant sales for 7 days (cut flowers should last that long). The manager offered me a 50% gift card with some disgust. This is an example of poor customer service from a once-great chain. Don't shop here unless you want to be dismissed, treated badly, and leave with only half of what you came with.

If you like to wait 8 minutes just to wait for the cashier to be quizzed another 5 minutes by supervisor this is the store for you to shop at. I just left my emptied cart on checkout stand as i would have waited another 5-10 minutes. This is why i shop at new seasons.

Its a good store & has great prices the only thing I don't like would be the very long lines all throughout the day but other than its a very positive place to visit for a quick trip to the grocery store

This is by far the best Safeway around the Beaverton/Hillsboro area. The Isles are wide. Good product selection. The floral department is top shelf on par with any florist shop but much better prices. This will be our Safeway from now on, a bit farther to drive but worth it.
