I spent a full day calling them to for an update on my medication that I'd ran out of. Every 30 minutes, took a break from my work and called from the morning to the evening. Finally got an answer by the 24th call.
Hire a few more folks. What are you doing?

They have no way to tell you if your prescription is out of stock and never answer the phone. The only way to find out is to make a trip to the store just to leave empty handed. They also don't have a system to tell you if other pharmacies carry your prescription so you have to hunt! Staff is nice about it, but it's a bad system

never answers their phone. i have a sick child and i have to walk 20 mins to get to them and have them START to fill my rx.
this isn’t a taco bell. you guys work with medicine, people’s health are on the line. so incredibly disrespectful to their own profession.

The taller gentleman with a black ponytail has got to be the phoniest and least efficient pharmacy technicians I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with, every time I see him working I leave and come back when he isn’t working, regardless of who he’s dealing with it takes on average 7-15 minutes per person. I have degenerative disks in my neck/back and Im unable to stand for prolonged periods of time and this is entirely unacceptable, when I’ve asked about picking up my prescriptions from the drive up and go area he cattily refers me to their app (which does not work). App issues aside its extremely classist and ableist behavior and its sickening.

Multiple staff were rude for no reason, judgmental about the type of medication, and poor
communicators. Many hours of my time were wasted, and my emotional energy spent. I'll be happy to switch back to Brooklyn Pharmacy where the staff are compassionate and lead with humanity.

Sasha is the definition of proactive professionalism. She alone solved my issue caused by doctors and insurance. She’s a real problem solver and I highly value that trait.

Had a great experience coming here for the first time, Brock at the pharmacy went above and beyond my regular expectations for customer service with an exemplary attitude and working with me to figure out the best way to pay for my medication. I’d make sure you do all you can to keep him because employees like that in customer service positions are few and far between. Will be making this my regular pharmacy to pick up medication, thanks Brock!

I’ve been going here for years. There is one pharmacy tech named Sasha (same name as me!) who is always super sweet and helpful. Everyone else I’ve interacted with on the phone or in person typically has woken up on the wrong side of the bed lmao

Whether I was picking up prescriptions for my aunt who was in hospice care. Later on, a surgical procedure meant more visits to our neighborhood pharmacy. Our experiences have always brought us back, and lead us to designate the Hawthorne Safeway Pharmacy as our pharmacy of choice. Evidently many of our neighbors have the same opinion, judging from the lines at the pickup window from time to time. The service is attentive for each person that comes to the window, ensuring they understand what the medication does - or does not - do.

Sure they deal with a lot of BS here, but… Was feeling anxious about my meds that they’ve been out of for months (whoever their supplier is sucks) and staff was real rude about it. Also the phones are rarely answered. Would recommend an alternate location if you can.
