A tech helping me was wearing a mask and sneezed into the mask. He then went to the back and blew his nose, wiped the inside of the mask with a paper towel. He put on the mask and did not wash his hands before he proceeded with the transaction. I had to put a bunch of hand sanitiser in my hand before grabbing the prescription. Very disgusting.

Find a different pharmacy if you can. I went to pick up a highly sensitive medication yesterday. There was a complication, and they proceeded to discuss it for 20 minutes in vague terms without addressing me. Told me to return the next day as it wasn’t ready. I clarified, “I should come back tomorrow?” And they confirmed yes. Went today, the worker harshly informed me that the place I stood in line was inappropriate, which is reasonable, but I was a fair distance, there was no signage, and her tone was intense as she cut me off. She then informed me of an issue, the one I suppose the workers the previous day were wrestling with that I was not informed of. My prescription was not ready, despite being told it would be, and will not be ready that day.
They additionally never answer the phone, of which I called multiple times to no avail to avoid the trip and stress. The Safeway itself is even hard to exit as there’s blockages and no exit that doesn’t require awkwardly walking past check out lanes. I do not recommend and I will not be returning after the distress they have caused.

I’m reading all the bad reviews, but the staff is always very kind when I pick up my family’s or mom’s prescriptions. When we’ve called, they’ve picked up the phone. They’ve been out of drugs twice but that’s only because of national shortages. They’ve warned me of the cost before ringing up the more expensive drugs. Sometimes there’s a long line but they are working their buns off. Then other times there’s no line. It just depends on the time. Overall very good experience.

I switched to this pharmacy recently and I have to say they have been STELLAR. Prescriptions ready same day, answered the phone the two separate times I called, and getting my prescriptions transferred from another pharmacy was easy and expedient. I did end up having my clinic send an RX of mine to their on site pharmacy once, because of some issue with sending prescriptions to Safeway on that day.. I could have had it transferred but needed it that day so didn’t bother. I have a loooot of medications right now and so far this pharmacy has made my life easier. Thanks :)

They never pick up the phone or answer messages. Frequently lose prescriptions. Rude staff. If you value your health, go elsewhere because they couldn't care less.

As bad as Walgreens on Holgate but more painful in ingenuously new ways
