I’m reading all the bad reviews, but the staff is always very kind when I pick up my family’s or mom’s prescriptions. When we’ve called, they’ve picked up the phone. They’ve been out of drugs twice but that’s only because of national shortages. They’ve warned me of the cost before ringing up the more expensive drugs. Sometimes there’s a long line but they are working their buns off. Then other times there’s no line. It just depends on the time. Overall very good experience.

I switched to this pharmacy recently and I have to say they have been STELLAR. Prescriptions ready same day, answered the phone the two separate times I called, and getting my prescriptions transferred from another pharmacy was easy and expedient. I did end up having my clinic send an RX of mine to their on site pharmacy once, because of some issue with sending prescriptions to Safeway on that day.. I could have had it transferred but needed it that day so didn’t bother. I have a loooot of medications right now and so far this pharmacy has made my life easier. Thanks :)

They don't ever answer the phone. I have called 10 times in one day and was not able to get anyone on the phone.

Never answers the phone under any circumstances. Completely unprofessional and honestly despicable

They never pick up the phone or answer messages. Frequently lose prescriptions. Rude staff. If you value your health, go elsewhere because they couldn't care less.

As bad as Walgreens on Holgate but more painful in ingenuously new ways

Actually felt super validated when I came here and saw they had 2 stars and 83 reviews. They’re awful. Poor communication, long lines, don’t do what they’re supposed to do. Skip them if you can.

There are so many wasps here. Holy hell. How do you operate a pharmacy when every single surface of your grocery store is swarming with wasps. The employees all had pet wasps and the manager would throw them at anyone who came in. A big sign says wasps for everyone. I got stung 26 times.0/5 too many wasps.

Rx’s are not done done when you’re told they will be. They’ll wait to start the rx refill when you get there to pickup them have you wait (at least) 30 mins while they fill it.

Safeway Pharmacy 4515 S.E. Woodstock . Has a problem . I don't care what time of day or evening. You never can get a hold of anyone. They say to leave a message and we will call you back. Never do. There is some of us who can not go there to take care of business. I was told to fill a thng out on line and it would and it would have all answers . Which it did not. I also been told if and when they answer the phone we are out of stock an will have it tomorrow. Which turns out to be longer. The pharmacy needs help in getting oranized.

The pharmacy does not pick up the phone. They don’t return messages. The main customer service line for the store (through which I have hoped I could possibly get the attention of the pharmacy) does not pick up the phone, either. This has happened on multiple occasions over the last year. It’s one thing to not be able to reach the bakery, or the deli…it’s another to have zero way to communicate about receiving literally life-sustaining medications. I understand that there are staffing shortages everywhere, and the problems are almost certainly not the fault of pharmacy staff…but, Dear Safeway Corporate: This is in no way okay. Pay better. Hire people. Stop putting patients at risk! You can afford it! This will absolutely be the last time I call; I should’ve gone elsewhere a while ago—for groceries, too, I guess.

Texting service is almost always inaccurate, the auto refill system is garbage, and the cherry on the goddang cake is they don’t take their lunch at their designated time so if you show up at 1:25 or even 1:15 needing medication you’re SOL and stuck hanging out for a half hour because they can’t stick to a schedule for their patients. Customer service won’t do anything about it when you bring it to their attention, where’s the manager and what are they going to do to make their pharmacy better?

They don’t pick up their phone. Their text message refill reminders only come through for some of my meds, and I only realize I’m low when it’s too late. When I tell them this, they do nothing to fix it. I have to head over, wait in line just to tell them to refill, then wait around or come back a second time. The final straw was they had me wait around for an hour (I never got a ready for pickup text in the time they said it would take) only for me to go back in, wait in line, and find out they were out of the med I made the trip for to ask them to refill in the first place. It’s just incompetent, disorganized and unprofessional. Trying another location farther from my house.

This place confuses me. Sometimes it’s quick and everyone is very friendly. Other times it’s completely inefficient and the same super nice people are flat out rude and snippy. At least they have good hours?
