I love this pharmacy and staff. Especially with my last pharmacy in the area providing really not great service. I have to come regularly for pick ups and it’s always a breeze and my medications seem to cost less here. The staff has a stressful job but they never let it show. I’ve easily gotten vaccines here in the last as well.
Several months ago I had surgery where I was prescribed pain meds. I had to pick them up by myself about 24 hours after my procedure. It was late in the day and I’d never gotten meds like that before with a written prescription from my surgeon and I was a little nervous about the process, but the staff could clearly see my neck was all bruised and bandaged up and they let me sit in the waiting room while taking care of my prescription promptly. Again they’re always very kind, and when you’re dealing with health problems it’s nice for any step of the process to be made easier.

This place used to be good. Now, they just don't care anymore. If you need help, they don't care. If your prescription is late because they screwed up, they don't care.

Honestly, I really like one of the pharmacists here. He’s worked with me multiple times getting my prescription filled when I couldn’t get a hold of my doctor. HOWEVER they absolutely will not answer the phone. I have called far too many times in a row just in an attempt to get a hold of them - at times I have simply showed up and talked to them in person (I have the luxury of living close by, unlike some customers) because I can’t get through on the phone. There is no excuse for this when there is no option to leave a message. There has to be some sort of rule in place for that…. People need their prescriptions and at times need to speak to a pharmacist. It’s absolutely infuriating and it needs to change.

Find a different pharmacy. Literally ANY other pharmacy, this is honestly the worst one I have ever had to deal with in my life. The staff will surely thank you for going elsewhere, as they are so averse to doing their jobs. There is some sort of conspiracy in place here to ensure that no one answers the phone, and there is also no way to leave a message. This makes it impossible to accomplish anything or communicate in any way. I have called exactly FOURTY-SIX times today and not once gotten an answer. There’s no excuse for this.
In the rare event you can get as far as having your prescription filled and ready to pick up, wait times are also atrocious as they only ever have one register open. Have fun standing in line for a minimum of 30 minutes. Unbelievable how bad this place manages to be.

Excellent pharmacy that accepts most insurance...Staff is very very friendly and helpful ....But,..I had a script for 25 needles for my injection and they would give me only a few at a time and charge me $7.95 no matter how few they gave from 7 to 1 needle... I need these needles for my testosterone prescription injections...I have a Endocrine issue ... They insisted this is what all pharmacy do ...I called them out as not ethical because I'm an x- medical assistant and I know that's not true...I switched pharmacy to a mail order at OHSU Creekside Pharmacy and receive everything ( all my needles at once) by mail...tip if you transfer pharmacy mast you have a couple of weeks supply of your prescriptions because there maybe a delay in the transition with the new pharmacy ( especially mail order)

I always give pharmacies the benefit of the doubt because I know they are always overworked and understaffed but it's damn near impossible to get anything done with this place. They're nice enough when you go in so it's not the employees. But when you call half the time the option to speak to a representative doesn't even work and if it does, nobody answers. Every other pharmacy I've been to puts the goodrx discount on by just presenting them with a member card. Here I had to look up each prescription and give each code for the discount. Once I had a prescription refilled and was told it wouldn't be ready anytime soon which I understand, no big deal, so I left. Then as soon as I got home (less than 2 miles away) I was notified that it was ready. I switched to Fred Meyer pharmacy and have had a much better experience.

DONT SETTLE . GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
I went to a *different* pharmacy finally. I got a text that my prescription was ready, two to three days after my doc sent it in. Unlike at Safeway, I didn’t have to badger my new pharmacy a week after my doctor sent my prescription, and no one at my new pharmacy lied and told me the doctor never sent my prescription despite multiple conversations with my doctor saying otherwise. There was no huge line of grumpy people waiting to be denied and verbally abused at my new pharmacy, and no pharmacist to verbally challenge me for having the gall to get a prescription filled. Everyone at this other pharmacy was mildly pleasant, which was a welcome change. Unlike at Safeway pharmacy, I felt like a patient and not like a piece of gum on the shoe of pharmacy staff, to be lied to when it’s convenient, talked over, interrupted and actually hung up on when they realized they’d gone too far! It’s amazing what a better experience you’ll have ANYWHERE ELSE. God this Safeway pharmacy royally sucks like NO business involved in healthcare should EVER, ever suck.

Called and confirmed they got my child's prescription and they were working it. Called to follow up voice mail box is full. Went in to follow up and told they are out of the medication and can't get it. When asked why was I told they were working on it as it implies they have the medication. I was told you need to ask if it's in stock. Terrible communication and customer service. Do not use this location.

Just spoke to a very rude pharmacist. Just asking questions there is no need to have an attitude!

Slow to refill and only informed me when I came in person that they no longer fill my prescription. Staff doesn’t know how to work efficiently. I swear sometimes it looked like they were moving in slow motion. I’ll only give their sluggish staff credit for one thing: proving that not everyone has common sense.

All the charm of a night at Inverness, the staff are surly & prone to mistakes.Called in & person on the phone botched transferring my Rx from Albertsons (same company/system), she tried to fill one that was really old & told me I had to go back to the doctor for a new Rx or pay for it OTC; I pushed back & had her check the info in the system vs the label from my last fill & it turned out I had a valid newer Rx.Made a vaccination appointment too, showed up & when I said I wanted to skip picking up the Rx that day because the line was long/disorganized & just get the vaccination, a tech named Chloe claimed there would be a delay in processing my insurance info (I used to work for an insurance company & this was a lie, ESI claims process instantaneously), they basically told me that I HAD to get my Rx first (we actually went back & forth about this for a minute) & refused to let me just get my shot. A few minutes later someone checked in while I was still in line & was vaccinated right away, before me, despite the fact that I checked in first.Waiting room carpet was COVERED in stains & the vaccination room had dust-bunnies the size of jackrabbits. Pharmacist giving the vaccine barely said two words to me, though he was chatty with the woman they chose to treat before me.Also, there are no signs or organization around queuing for Rx pick-up away from the desk, so it’s a free-for-all when the line gets long.Go to Fairley’s across the street, the money your insurance company pays for your drugs/vaccinations (anything over your copay) will stay in the community & not be sent back to a conglomerate in another state.

I encountered extremely poor customer service when I called to transfer my grandma's medication. The lady on the phone was exceptionally rude and disrespectful. As a result, I opted to seek services from another pharmacy.
