Sara was the most amazing realtor. My husband and I are from California and were relocating to Oregon. She was so knowledgeable on the areas and what kind of house we were looking for. She is very professional but has a very caring personality. We purchased our house on 8/28 and moved in 9/30/25. I would highly recommend Sara to anyone buying or selling a house.

Sara Jones is an amazing realtor in Portland, Oregon. She helped us find our dream home, which took some time, but once we found it - she made sure everything came together seamlessly. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients. Sara is hardworking, passionate, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable.

I recently teamed up with Sara for a transaction with some first-time homebuyers. The communication and smoothness of this transaction was one for the ages! She was so on top of every step for her buyers and we were totally in sync all the way to closing, which was well ahead of the contract date. She is a top notch professional and anyone buying or selling would be lucky to work with her!

I own a local construction company that works a lot with Sara to help advise her clients on what is best for their home and their transaction. Last year our business helped over 200 agents close over 600 transactions. Sara is in the top 5 of all those agents when it comes to transaction strategy and moral compass. Agents have a hard job of not always telling you what you want to hear, and they do make mistake, but if you are on either end of a transaction with Sara she is acting in your best interest.

Review is for Suzanne Clark/Cambray We are beyond grateful for the amazing work that Suzanne did to help us find our dream home. She went above and beyond to make our home buying experience smooth and successful. She faced many challenges and obstacles along the way, but she never gave up and always found a way to overcome them. She is not only a great realtor, but also a great person who cares about her clients and their happiness. Suzanne is the perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness. She is not afraid to ask the tough questions and negotiate the best deal for her clients. She is also very creative and resourceful, always coming up with solutions and suggestions to help us. She was a lifesaver when our selling agents were struggling to find buyers for our old house. She helped us market our house better and attract more offers. If you are looking for a realtor who will go the extra mile for you, look no further than Suzanne. She is the best in the business and we are so lucky to have worked with her. She also has a great team behind her, including her husband Cedric who runs C & S Construction. He has already helped us with some repairs and improvements on our new house. Don't hesitate to call Suzanne and her team. You will not regret it. We are writing this from our beautiful new home, all thanks to Suzanne!

Sara Jones was a pleasure to work with. She went above and beyond. We moved across country before our home sold and she took care of all the things we weren’t able to take care of long distance. She made what could have been a very stressful experience, a pleasurable one. We definitely made the right choice in choosing Sara and Cascade Hasson.

Sara was amazing to work with in our relocation to Oregon!!! We were coming from out of state, so her attention to detail, organization skills, and her eagerness to get us into a forever home was exactly what we needed. She did not waste any time oshowing us around different neighborhoods which allowed us to find the perfect home and town for our family!!! She was always available to assist in every way she could and we are just truly just so grateful we worked with her!!! I would highly recommend and would put more stars if I could!!!

Sara is a wonderful agent. She can definitely be trusted to put your interest first. Never pushy and listens well in order to find the house you’re looking for. And then will do everything she can to make sure you are the winning offer. Very easy to talk to, very personable. She works for you and fully recommend to choose her for all your real estate needs.

It was great working with Sara. She knew exactly what our needs were without having to inform her of every detail! She was very accommodating since we viewed the homes as a family (we have an active little one). I highly recommend!

Sara is an angel and she made my dream come true as a first time buyer doing it solo. She walked me through the process, step by step, was effectively able to answer any of my questions at a drip of a hat, and was just the loveliest to work with. I couldn’t recommend her more and I hope to continue to buy properties with her assistance.

Alison Derse led my husband & I to believe we had longer than we did to point to a financing contingency to cancel our purchase contract and get back $15,000 of escrow money. We relied on this when entering into the contract because we were in the process of selling a house & wanted to be sure we had an out in case the house fell out of escrow (which it did). We were aware this was not a sale contingency, Alison advised us that those were losing offers but there would be a financing contingency we could use. When it came time to use this contingency within the time frame Alison told us, Alison was then confused as to why we were not able to use it. The financing folks confirmed there was no contingency for us to use any longer, and that it was Alison who created the contract so it would be her to understand what contingency she thought we would be able to use. There was no contingency, and we were going to lose an additional $15,000 to back out of the contract. We were only willing to lose up to $5,000 when we entered the contract and had things timed with the inspection contingency on our other home (which is when the house fell out of escrow). When all of this went down we were upset but also we were in the process of moving out of state, trying to sell a home that had been sitting on the market, & starting a new job. It did not occur to us that we should have considered getting a lawyer to now fight with our realtor. In the moment we needed to focus on whether or not this was a possible financial move to carry two houses, something we were led to believe we could avoid for no more than a $5,000 loss (an amount we were willing to part with, NOT $20,000). All Alison kept saying was that "I support whatever decision your family needs to make." What she was not offering was $15,000 for us to cancel the contract under the terms as she described them. And she knew we wanted to back out of the contract, that is why I reached out to her to pull this financing contingency. Fast forward, we decided to move forward on the house even though our other house was still sitting. It was a lot more money for us to lose. We closed on the PDX house & then had to wait a few weeks to take possession b/c of a lease-back situation. During all of this Alison kept asking us about our other house & how things were going knowing the situation. I finally very politely asked Alison to please stop asking us about our other house as it was a sensitive topic & something she contributed to. To me, it seemed flippant of her to casually bring it up with smiley faces attached. I then got an email from Alison saying that she was no longer going to be available to meet us for the key hand off & she would be passing this off to her friend. I was willing to work with her friend up until her friend having no clue our close date (which had already happened...), or anything about the deal. She was trying to explain to me the difference between possession and ownership... wtf. So now Alison not only led us astray on the deal, she was sloppily handing us off to someone else. At this point Alison's managing broker gets involved because Alison is too confused as to why we are frustrated with her. We stop hearing from Alison altogether & were only then in contact with her managing broker to finish up our deal. We explained to her managing broker our frustrations with Alison mishandling our deal, and all he could say was that it seemed like a miscommunication. Gaslighting! We have our evidence of what happened, and the financing folks agreed to our story... in writing. I would never again or recommend anyone work with Alison or the Hasson company. This whole situation was made worse by them, and they walk away with a commission from it as if nothing happened. Careless and cowardly are how I would describe working with Alison Derse and co. She never owned up to her mistake, which to me shows she lacks accountability & maturity.
