Can't believe I'm sharing this but... this is the best gem of a thirftstore in all of town in my opinon. It's a hit or a miss but when it hits, it hits. Lots of lightly worn clothes from good brands (a lot of designer) donated by locals. All proceeds go to supporting the library, so you never feel guilty for buying a little too much. The best sections I've found to be are jewelry and blouses. I try to go once a week since they're constantly rotating in new things. Also good to know that every week they have a sale color like a goodwill so you can get really great deals!

NOT dog (or human) friendly. The staff is unbelievably rude here and loves degrading their customers. It was our fist and last time here, we will not be coming back due to how we were treated.

I had a very bad experience today in this store they told me to go outside because I was carrying my little dog inside because their can be people allergic to dogs. It’s not like the stuff in this store have those kinds of allergens. Staff were very rude in the way I was told of this. Never going again!

I go to the library every Friday. Yet my first store is Second Edition. I've been going for over 15 years. I've picked up so many gently used items for our family. I love that we are reusing items and that thr proceeds go to help support new books and services. Win. Win!

This is a thrift store that is attached to the library as one unit. I went to the cedar Mill library and I stopped by this sotre. I found out that this library is not supported by any government grants money in the county. So, people in the community donate whatever they can at the thrift store here , and the fund from selling those items support Cedar Mill Library. ?? it is amazing isn't it? That was my first time seeing a library not being supported by government grants. I took my time to do some shopping after a volunteer at the store told me the story behind library. So please whenever you have some time, Stop by there and support this beautiful community library with your donations.

The Second Edition Resale Shop is full of clothing and houseware of all kinds at good prices for adults and children. It may be small but you will be pleased with the excellent items you find. The money you spend benefits the Cedar Mill Community Library, and the shop is almost next door. You can enter from the inside of the library or by a separate outside entrance.Because the items on sale are from the surrounding area, I feel the quality is higher and the items are in the very best condition.Items are marked down regularly. There are 2 changing rooms for trying on clothing. Racks of clothing are on display for men, women and children. Toys and games. Decorating items for your home. Really cute stuff you won't be able to resist. (It happens to me all the time!)Bring in items you are no longer using, poke around the shop to get acquainted and come out with great new stuff at a good price.

Friendly staff, nice quality, well organized, and reasonable prices, Second Edition manages to fit a lot into a space that is very cozy. Attached to one of the libraries it helps support, Cedar Mill & Bethany Community Libraries, it is a lovely part of the community. When I was there the two sweet volunteers kept looking at each other for answers when I asked questions--I guess the main person had stepped out. They were also nice to a well-behaved child, which is not always the case. I was short on time. I'll be back for a longer visit.

This is a review for the Fun For Ones with Marta. She has an odd rule that you must keep your child with you while she blows the bubbles at the end. This means the child is not allowed to wander chasing bubbles. And she will stop blowing and make you go grab your child. Let's take a moment and think about that rule. (It's not even a request.) She wants children with their inherit inclination to discover and experience whimsical bubbles falling from the sky to stay still. They're prohibited from touching bubbles that fall upon them; bubbles that are meant to be popped/enjoyed/touched. That sounds preposterous to me. We go to other libraries in the area that encourages free play, free thinking, free exploration esp during bubble blowing time but we come to this one and we're supposed to strap our kids down and prevent them from sensing the charm of bubbles simply bc Marta says she's had kids get too excited and run into each other and bumped each other. While I understand and respect Marta for caring about the children's safety, I think a fair warning to the parents to keep watch on their child from going crazy is sufficient. It is so odd to me that a Person who claims to be running this program for 15y would not see the benefit of letting a 1yo walk and letting bubbles land in the middle of their hands (which ironically is the lyric of the song she sings while blowing the bubbles). Not to mention that all the kids get equally excited and crowd the bins when she dumps out all the toys. Same thing happens here as what she fears during bubble time. While I will respect her rules as this is the class she leads, clearly, I think it is counterintuitive to tease children with bubbles and not let them innocently approach the bubbles.
