I scheduled a non self guided tour today at 11A received 2 notifications for the tour as seen in picture, arrived to the office with no one here. The sign read, be back at 10A, it was 11A. I tried calling, knocking, no response. I left a phone message especially after driving 25 minutes to get here. I waited until 11:15. Very unprofessional.

It’s a great place to live. Staff are friendly, and maintenance work is done promptly. If I had to pick an area for improvement, I would say cleaning of the stairs - power washing even just once a quarter would be great.

This place is a nightmare to live at...you allways have to worry about your spot being taken. It took me and my wife to sign a renewal lease 12 weeks. That's right 12 weeks. This place is a ship wreck
Doors slaming and nothing gets done what so ever. We want to love this place but we can't. IF YOU WANT TO RENT HERE GOOD LUCK ' YOU'VE BEEN ⚠️ WARNED. THE APARTMENT VENDORS ARE THE WORSE, THEY PARK WHEREVER THEY WANT. WE HAVE BEEN HERE 2 YEARS AND TWICE THE MAIL BOXES HAVE BEEN BROKEN INTO AND NO EMAIL WAS SENT OUT AT ALL. WE CANT WAIT TO MOVE OUT. RENT AT YOUR OWN RISK GOOD LUCK AND PLEASE DONT SAY I WARNED YOU

The most hostile environment and worse customer service experience I’ve ever witnessed in my entire time renting at Sofi at forest heights, no professionalism, all about power and attacking tenants in a harassing way, vs
deescalate a situation with a tenant, no education from these people clearly need more training or will be considered harassment by leasing office towards tenants, no privacy all about making themselves look good for the tenants they choose to like, and hate tenants for whatever reasons they may have, very discriminatory in the office and now the whole vibe of the apartments is affected, not feeling comfortable here anymore and want to get ready to find something better, where I’m appreciated, regardless of the circumstances, respected, treated like a human being, and kindness goes along way regardless of a tenants issues practicing kindness, is very important. No ethics here at this office or etiquette, they hang up phones on me when I call in block my emails so I can’t send back emails to them, and also they have being very harassing lately sending me letters in my door for work orders with no professionalism no envelope attached to the letter just masking tape and attached to the door like I was receiving a eviction notice, all my privacy exposed, my name everything posted on my door saying there coming in to do a work order and they never even fixed the problem they came to be able to enter my apt to check for other things and check out my apt , which they had no permission to enter but for the work order that wasn’t even fixed, so they lied about coming in to fix my work order after they had posted on my door that that’s what they were coming for, so very unprofessional, sneaky and opening my door to come in my apt when they feel like it by just posting saying there going to come work on my work order but lie and just want to check my apt to discover other things! I have cameras in my house so I know what goes on!

i have lived at Sofi @ Forest heights since February, 2021. My move-out was March, 2024. So, 3 years. I have to say, this was the best apartment complex that I have lived in to date. Application process was easy with quick approval. Move-in was easy. Living here was easy. All tenants are very nice and respectul. There are lots of dogs and dog-owners. The roadway that circles around the 3 middle buildings makes the perfect sized dog-walking loop. Doggies make friends often. The apartments themselves are quite beautiful in their interior- up to date & modern appliances and flooring. Exterior is absolutely beautiful - if you happen to snap up a unit overlooking the forest. Very much worth it. Frogs- hundreds of them- chirp all night around the pond below. Deer, bunnies, squirrels, lots of birds and other animals. Secluded with lots of walking trails through the Forest Heights neighborhood woods. Responsive and tenant-representative management office team. Maintenance provides common-sense responses that work well with tenants to seek a satisfactory resolution in a timely manner. Common areas kept up nice with landscaping and cleanliness. Overall, a great place to live, and your own visitors will be impressed!

I lived at Sofi apartments for seven years. The maintenance crew have been excellent. I have also appreciated the customer service in the main office. Thank you Kayla, Amanda, Jordan and Giovanni.The only complaint I have is the fact that they are raising our rent far too much.

We just moved in and it’s been great! Jordan was spectacular during our tour and really sold us on moving in. The view is out of this world. The complex is SO quiet, we’re finally sleeping well again. It’s clean, most people are friendly, and there’s definitely some space for guest parking. Even with some hiccups on our first day, they were so kind and accommodating. Absolutely a place I can see us renewing year after year.

I had a mixed experience living here, but the absolute shining star of this property is the maintenance team. Jim would go above and beyond and made it feel like he cared about my "home" just as much as I did. He was always so kind and I never felt like I was letting a stranger into my apartment. I can't thank him enough for being such a positive part of my time living there.

Honestly great. Probably the best place i have lived in Oregon in the duration of five years we resided there. I wish we could keep living there, however it was painfully expensive and we could find the same with a much lower cost somewhere else. My son and i enjoyed every minute living there, even with constant loud yardwork. Quiet and felt very safe, even walking at night. Never ran into issues with the area or the complex.

SAVE YOURSELF THE TIME AND ENERGY, DON'T MOVE HERE! Management sucks. If you have more than one car, good luck on finding parking. They advise to sign up for a garage, but what they don't tell you is that the wait list is atrocious. When you park in a 24-hours guest spot, the car must be moved every 24-hours or they will have it towed. the office staff is incompetent half the time. The apartments have no AC, and you are expected to supply your own or rent from the office. Everyone within this apartment complex is very rude, and they don't care how they talk to you. These neighbors will go to the office and complain on any little problem that they can. The steep driveways are horrible for climbing if they are iced over that whole area is dangerous and way to hilly. Good luck on finding somewhere to walk your dogs within the apartment complex as its all dirt and no grass, when it rains it becomes a big headache for walking your pets. In the apartment above us the child played their musical instrument all hours of the day and night, no cares given. Noise complaints will NOT be handled appropriately just like the other reviews complained about. Don't try to get pods to move with as the office is very unaccommodating, and they will let you know that it can't be on property more than two days, if it is they will threaten to tow those pods and send emails that you didn't touch base with the office when you did but they didn't want to help. The office staff are very unprofessional, and when it is time for move out they will try to charge you for any little thing that they can. Peoples balconies are very trashy and management does nothing about that. Calls are never returned, but they can send emails galore, when you get an email and you try calling they avoid you, so you have to go into the office to get answers. Garbage is always overflowing and you are told to take it to other trashcans within the property, and if you don't they will knock on the door to advise you and threaten you with fines. I am so glad we broke our lease and left early from this headache.

Beautiful neighborhood but spa has been under construction for 6 months and looks terrible . Haven't had access to the gym due to its closure because of the spa being under construction. No updates other than 'we are waiting on parts and have no idea of when this job will be completed' . Rent is also being raised although there is none of the amenities listed in my rental agreement . Really nice neighborhood, really nice staff so I give it a 3 . I really did enjoy living here until this recent issue . I've reached out to the office in regards to the hours I work and the hours they let me in the gym and they don't line up . Using the gym at 8am doesn't seem like something that should be an issue . I will add pictures of what the spa looks like later . Lol it looks ridiculous and has been like this for months . I have been exercising every morning for the last 10 years and if I knew there would be no gym access for me to use in the morning I would have never moved here

I can’t wait to leave. There is always some sort of work trucks here, I understand they have jobs to do however if the parking lot was bigger it wouldn’t be such an issue. Speaking of the parking lot, if you have more than one vehicle good luck finding a spot fairly close by. We were here through multiple ice/snow storms and even with snow tires/chains on our cars we were stranded at the top of our hill. Multiple cars got hit in their parking spots because of the hill. No ac and rude neighbors. Run far far away!!!! It is NOT WORTH THE PRICEAlmost forgot to add-there are garages but there’s not enough of them to offer to tenants that request one. We’ve been on the waiting list since we moved in months ago, and they are an additional $200 charge per month.Edit: here’s the lovely view from my toddler daughters bedroom during her quiet nap time. Ladder being banged against her window and machinery going with a stranger being able to look in. Not liking this AT ALL.Second time my baby’s nap has been interrupted by non essential maintenance.Also I would think it’s a huge liability for the fire extinguishers to be covered.Paint is being sprayed while trying to go in and out with my baby while the painters are wearing respirators.

The staff has been great to work with especially Jim. He works really hard and you can tell he cares about the residents and our dog loves his treats when we see him on our walks!
