One of the best veterinary clinics! I have been going here for several years and always have been met with the utmost care! Friendly staff, efficient assessments/treatments, overall a solid clinic that really cares about what they do! My cats are usually very stressed around other people, but they do exceedingly well with this team. I highly recommend to anyone with a pet that they care about to go here versus a Banfield or VCA! The only sad part is that I am moving away and will no longer be able to take my pets here! :(

I've been bringing my pets to this clinic for 6 years now and there is no consistency in care. My pets see a different doctor every time and there have been several instances of conditions being misdiagnosed after paying large amounts of money. This seems to be a corporate office that don't really care about the services they provide or their patients. Front desk seems to lack customer service training as well. I will be taking my business elsewhere as I cannot trust this clinic to provide quality care.

We are new to the area. Happy we found Sorrento Animal Hospital! We went there on two consecutive days with two different pets. During both visits, our pets were treated with love and care. Today, our Bombay cat Rocket had so much love that he came home not running off to hide, but he kept rubbing up against us. Was he thanking us for taking him to the hospital?

Sorrento Animal Hospital has been my preferred Vet for 25 years. The doctors and staff are very gentle, caring and compassionate. They care about our pets and go the extra mile?

Sorrento has to be my favorite vet office. My 16 year old cat is grumpy and usually it's a stressful situation taking him to the vet. The staff here is so amazing and it's stress-free. They are quick to fill medications through their Pharmacy or an outside Pharmacy. So easy to work with and grateful for the care they provide to my boy

Post covid/remodel, this is no longer a place my wife and I would recommend to anyone. The vets seem over worked/checked out, front staff doesn’t seem happy working here and the focus seems to be primarily about billing owners versus care. Last straw was an emergency visit that one of our dogs needed where before anyone did any evaluation or exam I was presented with a bill to pay before any care was done. Huge red flag imo.

They are so loving and gentle with my senior kitty. I brought my kiddo in with me during the visit and they explained everything that was happening to my kindergartener as well. Very wonderful.

Everyone there, including the front desk staff, is incredibly helpful and kind. I spoke with Sarah over the phone and she was knowledgeable, compassionate, and understanding.

The veterinarian's are fantastic, front desk staff are exceptionally rude and lack compassion.More details- I was a client for 3 years. Covid and their use of "curbside drop off and pick up", made working with their front desk staff...difficult.The final straw: my pet went in due to very concerning symptoms of anemia. The vet (amazing!) called and said I could come pick up my baby. When I arrived the front desk staff refused to let me see/ visit my pet until the payment portion was completed. After being a customer for over 3 years I thought they knew me better than to possibly think that I'd just "take my pet and run!"Giving them the benefit of the doubt...The procedures for the front desk staff shouldn't be so ridged. And the staff should show less sass. Having someone rolling their eyes at you when your in tears for wanting to see your pet shortly after being told they have cancer is what made it so unbelivable for me and difficult to process.Again nothing bad to say about the vets or services rendered just the receptionist approach to customers. That day my "fur baby" went to an "Animal Hospital" for something serious and they showed complete lack of compassion to the pet owner.Hopefully they have made a few changes since I have left. Compassion should always come first. ❤

What a nightmare! My husband told me to just let it go. But I feel responsible to tell people our experience at Sorrento. We took our two cats to Sorrento about a year ago for the first time. Two weeks ago, one of our cats was very ill. We called Sorrento and they were able to get us in on the next day, which I really appreciated it. The doctor did x-Ray, blood test, and urine test for our cat. They found a bladder stone in him, and the doctor thought it could be caused by cancer. It was heartbroken for us. We’ve been polite and patient with their staffs the entire time. Please understand how difficult it was for us to know that our baby was dying, so we asked the doctor many questions and tried to figure out what to do to save him. On the next day, the doctor suggested us to go to ER. The ER clinics in their network are an hour away from us, so we had to find one closer to home. After we found one. Sorrento sent the health records to that clinic. Here was the fun part. When the front desk lady of the other clinic was reviewing the email from Sorrento, I took a peek. Sorrento wrote “the male client is extremely difficult to work with.” I was shocked! I couldn’t recall any part of being “difficult”. Our cat is dying! All we did was to ask questions and get help. Do they even have any sympathy? What happened next made me angrier. They wrote us prescription urinary food for our cat. I purchased it on Chewy. After I uploaded the prescription, Sorrento denied it on their end! My husband sent them an email to just ask them why. They wrote back that they needed more time to process. Okay, we had no complains. On the next day, Sorrento wrote my husband another email saying we’ve been bad client and they will no longer serve us. I was shocked again! The entire time, we have been respectful and polite. Yes, we asked too many questions, because we are not doctors! We did nothing inappropriate. After thinking through the whole thing, we felt mistreated and discriminated at Sorrento. My husband and I are young. We didn’t dress fancy on our visit to Sorrento. Obviously, we don’t look rich enough to them. And they have enough clients with money. People like us don’t even worth their time. My husband is a health care worker. I’m a real estate agent. We dress casually and we are minority, but it’s not the reason to be discriminated. I can’t believe I even referred my clients to Sorento Animal Hospital. If a business keeps a discriminative culture like this, you’ll lose more past clients.Imagine what a nightmare it is for us: knowing your cat is dying and being treated by the vet like that. I’ve never seen anything like this. They refuse to provide service to their client while knowing the cat is very ill. It seems like a code of ethic problem. They owe us an apology. Also, their price is ridiculously high. We didn’t pay attention to the bills before because all we cared was to provide good care to our pets. But when we went to the other clinic, we realized their price is doubled, even tripled, for the same exams and medicines. They charge $300+ for x ray, but the other vet only charges $150. They charge $75 for 2ml pain med, but the other vet charges $25 for the same dose and same brand. If you want your pet to be taken a good care, I’m not sure if Sorrento is the right one.

Everyone at Sorrento has been great to my cat Bean (even when she's not the nicest to them)! They have helped me manage her hyperthyroidism, urinary crystals, and other issues that have come up as she ages. They are especially great at providing you a choice of options for your pet's care and at soothing my concerns as concerned pet mom.Recently, I found a string hanging out of Bean's butt. I had a flight the next day for a two week long international trip and was afraid I might have to cancel it. Sorrento was very understanding. They were able to get me in for an emergency appointment and fortunately removed the string that day without surgery.I feel so fortunate to have found a veterinary office with such caring staff that provides top of the line care.

I have had pets of various breeds and needs for my entire life, and never have I ever before found a vet as wonderful as Sorrento Animal Hospital. They treat your pet like a real patient, not like your possession. Every single team member I have interacted with has had an abundance of compassion and care for both me and my pet, from veterinarians to techs to staff. They will collaborate with you on the best way to address any health issues that arise, with no judgement or coercion to get you to follow a specific treatment plan if it isn't feasible for your unique situation. My dog recently had surgery, and has extreme separation anxiety. I was anxious myself about his stress and howling as he was held for monitoring afterwards, but was relieved to hear that someone sat with him and played him different genres of music until they found one that helped calm him down! I moved across the city this year, but even an hour drive to and from the office is well worth the care my dog receives here. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I love taking my baby dog, Mia in for her yearly vet visits and nail trims. They are always so nice and personable. Friendly, and funny too! Very few dogs like the vets office but they do everything to make her feel safe and comfortable…including telling her she’s adorable. :) I schedule online and never have a problem getting an appointment that works with my schedule. The first time I took her here there was a slight wait for her to be seen. It was during the peek of the pandemic so I figured they were just being cautious (which I personally appreciated) but after the visit they told me that they had to take a little extra time with a client putting their fur baby down. I was so pleased with the fact that they did not rush that person through an already emotional process that I knew I found the right place to bring my dog. They were so wonderful and even gave me a discount for the extra wait time even though I told them it was not a problem at all for me to wait. They don’t pressure you into any extra treatments or purchasing anything that you might not be in the best financial situation to afford. They are right down the street from my house but honestly even if I move I will travel to bring my dog here. 10/10 would recommend.
