South Park Blocks

Hours: South Park Blocks is a beautiful park located in the heart of Downtown Portland's Cultural District, extending many blocks between SW Park Ave. It features numerous seating areas, trees, and vibrant art installations. Visitors can enjoy free potluck lunches, a food market with treats like ice cream and energy drinks, and various events, such as a tiny house exhibition. The park also includes a playground at the south end near SW Jackson St. While it offers a picnic area with chess tables, the restroom facilities may not always be clean or accessible. South Park Blocks is dog-friendly, but pets must be leashed. With plenty of benches, flowers, and walking paths, it’s a perfect spot to relax, especially during the peak of rose season.
