Poor service. I had been coming to Springdale Cleaners for years. I don’t own a washing machine and used them extensively. One day a bleach spot showed up on my favorite shirt. Rather than offer to compensate for the damage the owner offered to make it a shortsleeved shirt. Avoid this business at all cost.

They loose a pants and they didn’t take care of the situation. That tell me a was lying and the owner clame he give me all my clothes when he never did. Not happy with the situation and is not about the money or the pants is about how they turn around and don’t take care of the situation on a better way.

This place was my long time preferred neighborhood drycleaner until some very recent bad experiences. After this most recent one, I'm finished. I had a simple order. One wool sweater with a split shoulder seam that needed mending and dry-cleaning. Took it in on a Tuesday and they said it'd be ready on Friday. I went back on the following Tuesday and the older gentleman working the counter (had previous bad experiences with him) couldn't understand me - apparently had extremely limited English skills with no one else available to interpret. He wandered around the shop confused for about 25 minutes trying to find my order and completely failed to do. I ultimately had to leave (had to get back to work). I then made another trip back before closing when, thankfully, there was a different person at the counter who, with exactly the same information I gave the older gentleman, brought out my order in 90 seconds. The second clerk explained that the old gentleman was his uncle, who on top of not understanding English, is hard of hearing - but they can't persuade him to retire. I understand that these businesses are often family operations, but that's not really my problem. Finding your customers' orders is the most basic of all basic customer service functions and you can't have someone interacting with the public who's unable to perform the basic, basic services. There are other drycleaners in the neighborhood and I'll be giving them a try. They literally can't be any worse.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever received. I never write reviews but my experience was so awful this is the first. I let the owner know what day I'd like to pick up my clothes, showed up and they weren't ready. This was after 20 minutes of him trying to look up my name. I was polite and said I'd come back two days later. On my second trip in, one item still wasn't ready so I said I'd come right before closing as I was leaving the country the next morning. When I showed up to pick up my things, he had closed early and gone home. I will now be leaving for work without my clothes and will never return to this dry cleaner again. I highly recommend you cross the street to the other dry cleaner and avoid this place at all costs.
