Always find something there. And they're always having ridiculous deals like 70% off. I got a brand-new Carhartt for $7.50

These employees got extremely pressed when I put some shoes down and asked me to leave the store as I was leaving the store peacefully one n*** said “I’m your worst nightmare”. Extremely awful customer service.

So much to look at!!!You can easily spend an hour here without realizing it. Mom and I had such a blast looking at memories. A Blast from the Past. They are a consignment store. The store is located on both sides of the street. There's prices on everything, but don't be afraid to ask if that could be changed.

I've loved this store for decades. It's been a favorite antiques store since I was old enough to drive almost. But my most recent experience there has me rather infuriated. A person at the front counter literally stole from me. I brought up four small, non-valuable, unpriced items from the space of a dealer I was buying other items from. One was a bent and rusted small metal leaf, one was a small seed pod, and two were metal flowers with no known use. I asked how much they might be and she said they'd have to be $5 each. I said, even for the seed pod and the damaged leaf? Even though seller 99 priced their items very reasonably? Yes. I decided to get them. They were amongst $300-400 of other purchases. A month or two later, I felt like an absolute fool when I found and checked out the receipt. She had charged me upwards of 4x each more for those items than quoted seconds before she rang me up. I'll add her name if I can find the receipt again. I don't intend ever again to bring business here after being stolen from and lied to. I also have my name on the wait list for a booth and you better believe I will not sell at a mall that defrauds its patrons. Shame on you, lady! They also have increased the cost of vendor spaces so much lately that some of the great old vendors have left and turnover is rapid.

Fun to browse. I got some jewelry. Several locals said it's one of their regular places to browse for treasures.

We had picked out many items we were about to rent pay $500 for everything. The lady told us we were standing in the wrong place and she helped several people that came after us.Needless to say. We put everything down. And left.0 money was spent there. Simply because of her poor customer service.SAD SINCE WE LIKED THE SHOP.WE WILL NOT BE BACK

Stars is so fun and has an eclectic mix of vintage and antiques! It seems like a lot of other vintage spots in Portland either sell mostly clothes and accessories, or furniture and home decor. At Stars you can find a little bit of everything, including things you never knew existed, much less that you had to have! Plus if you're looking for something specific, there's a good chance you'll find it. I was looking for a small side table for my bedroom and found something that fit perfectly in style and price ($25! For real wood, no less. Not some particle board crap from a big box store.) The space is pretty big, plus there's a "Stars Too" across the street for even more vintage fun finds. Whenever we have people visit from out of town, we always take them to Stars. If you like vintage, this spot is a must visit!
