I wish I could give this place zero stars. The showers offer absolutely no privacy, and there’s no way to adjust the water temperature. The water was scalding hot, making it impossible to use. The entire facility is poorly maintained, with cleanliness clearly not a priority. This is, without a doubt, the worst swimming center I’ve ever encountered.

This pool doesn't look much different than it did when I swam here over 55 years ago.

Nice place to visit for public swimming. Water is very warm, life guards on duty during public swim. My kids love this place. Annual family pass is a steal deal for in district residents

Good temperature pool. Slide and toys and life jacket for children. Kind of small but works well!

My personal observation:My kids have been attending swim lessons at the Sunset Swim Center for 3 semesters now. They are in Leve1/2.I have noticed and concluded that kids in the pool in each class, can only get to swim for approximately 5 minutes throughout the 30 minutes lesson. Reason is, there are 10-11 kids in one class though with 2 instructors, but most of the time the instructor is only able to guide each kid for a specific action/skill for about a minute, and will have them back to hanging by the wall of the pool.I have no complaints about the instructors teaching method, but do you feel it is fair to spend $70 for about only a total of 50 minutes lesson that spanned across 10 weeks (since most of them only gets to swim 5 minutes and the remaining 25 minute hanging by the wall)?I would really appreciate if THPRD can seriously look into how to improve the swim lesson at the swim center so that parents don't feel frustrated with sending kids to a 5 minutes only swim class but having to spent another 10 minutes commuting to the center, waiting in line for showering in the locker room and etc. Please do not take this feedback offensively, as I understand the influx of students enrolled in this area and limited instructors/time slots. Would really hope that a better coordination of the swim lesson will be provided by the facility.

Played water polo here in high school back in 95. Recently visiting, I was excited to see the pool being managed well and properly maintained. If you like swimming, this place has the pool....

Great staff. Good place to take swim lessons and do lap swim. They also have a wadding pool for the little ones.

We actually came to the softball fields but the Swim Center looks very nice. I noticed a lot of people going there but not sure if they were there to watch someone swim or going to swim themselves.

Sunset pool is not very dependable, we don't know when we go if there will be an instructor or not. Deep water although that's what we bought our pass for.
