I stopped by Tabor Bread during a lovely morning stroll in the Mt. Tabor neighborhood. Tabor Bread offers some of the most deletable pastries I've laid my eyes on. They offer sourdough croissants that provide a unique take on the classic go-to and a breadth of danish and savory pastries. I tried the chocolate sourdough croissant, passionfruit bun, chocolate chip cookie, and grabbed a black sesame loaf for the road. The passionfruit bun might be the best sweet I've had this year, perfect balance of sweet and savory. The bun didnt skimp on the filling, which is a great thing because the passionfruit filling was outstanding. In addition to great pastries and ambiance, the service was great. The folks working there will do their best to help you decide on which items to get because you are going to struggle to make a decision and want to buy everything. Strongly recommend.

New location looks great, but they were completely sold out by 11AM. Their bread is amazing… if you can get yours hands on it. Hope they can stay stocked through lunch in the near future.

Love having Tabor Bread so close to home :) cozy, sunny space, delicious sourdough pastries and breads. Shared a passion fruit glazed donut with my little guy and it was perfection ??

Great selection. Tasty breads. I drove into Portland to check this out. I was not disappointed. Pleased. Many vegan options. The bread I purchased toasted nicely and had great flavor.

I just wanted to say that I had an amazing experience here on Tuesday. The customer service was fantastic and the staff went above and beyond for me. The mountain bread is my absolute favorite and I look forward to the new flavors. I will definitely be a customer for life!

Such a special Portland spot! We wish we lived closer but when we are in the neighborhood we can’t help but get all sorts of goodies to share & enjoy! Highly recommend!

Ooooh that savory seasonal danish! It's has flaky layers like a croissant, filled w potato and topped w cheese goodness. Makes me wonder what the other season's flavors hold. Let's not forget about the bread so good they put it in their name. If you wanna level up any sammys or side dishes, you can't wrong w any of the choices. The shop is located right on the corner off Belmont w plenty of street parking around. This locale doesn't have the sit down space as the old one so I wonder if that's in the works. Staff is nice and service great.

We were not able to eat our savory danish's until a few days later and they were still delicious.

Great small bakery with genuine owners. Haven't been disappointed by a single item yet.

I never write reviews but this needs to be public knowledge. I bought a coffee and a pastry from Tabor Bread and suddenly was receiving promotional emails from them. Two in as many business days before I hit unsubscribe. I never signed up for a mailing list, provided my email, or consented to this. They just took it from my credit card and started spamming me. This is unacceptable and has put such a bad taste in my mouth that I felt I had to post so others would know what to expect from buying a simple coffee. Businesses can engage in whatever practice they want to, but there are consequences for treating customers like this.

Beautiful little bread store. Wish there was one closer to me. Ever think of putting a location in the Milwaukie/Oregon City area?
