I have lived in Redwood Creek for six years, and my experience has been frustrating. Every year, my rent increases by the maximum percentage allowed by the state, which feels unfair, especially after such a long residency.
There’s only one grace period for late payments, regardless of how long you’ve been a tenant. This policy shows a lack of understanding and consideration for life events that can happen unexpectedly.
Overall, the management seems to prioritize profits over the well-being of their residents, making it hard to feel valued here. I would not recommend Redwood Creek or any property owned by Tandem if you’re looking for a supportive and understanding living environment.

Im surprised that this apartment has a 2.6 review. These guys are awesome and attentive to your needs. Compared to the other Tandem properties, this is one of the best 👌

I live near a property owned by Tandem Property - the home in question appears to be abandoned and has not had anyone living there nor any upkeep of any kind for years. It is an eyesore. Since near my property, I would be willing to purchase. I called and was told by the very rude receptionist that the owner never sells, never, never...then hung up on me. Has been vacant for years and home to partying teenagers and whatever critters choose to enter. Crazy to own something like this in a delightful neighborhood and allow it to be a blight with no upkeep or improvement. Assuming this is a business, how does this makes sense when there is an interested buyer?

I just moved out from redwood creek in Beaverton and The management at this apartment is extremely unprofessional. The manager, Andie Wilde, was very rude and refused to speak with me when I asked about my $987 deposit refund check. I called multiple times trying to get information, but they wouldn’t provide any answers. I even spoke to another staff member, but they also refused to help. It’s frustrating and unacceptable to be ignored when asking about my own money. I do not recommend living here based on this terrible customer service.
Additionally, they attempted to charge me $175 without my permission. When I confronted them about this unauthorized charge, they admitted it was a mistake but claimed they couldn’t do anything to resolve it. Fortunately, I was able to dispute the charge with my bank and successfully get my money back, but this level of negligence and lack of accountability is completely unacceptable. A business that mishandles finances, refuses to take responsibility for its errors, and fails to provide even basic customer service should not be trusted. Their inability to resolve simple issues and their dismissive attitude toward residents speak volumes about how poorly this property is managed.

If you are okay with mold in your apartment, and their policy to paint over it, then this is your home!
Ironically not accessible without a vehicle, yet if you have one you won’t know peace. They have change policies a few times but it is clear they do not offer enough spaces for the property. The security company they used to hire went out of business and they do not care to get another while cars are stolen and vandalized
(Leasing office did respond to this and told me “crime knows no zip code”. This was in 2023 and writing in 2024 there are no changes, no security re hired.
On top of this issue, you will need to drive your trash in your car to the only working dump at the end of the property, the others are filled with junk they don’t seem to have plans for.
They will also charge anyone who has an outdoor cat for being outside (after helping you find an apartment your cat can access the outside) and send their staff to physically take your property. Despite your porch not being near any walkway; in fact behind a shrub, and despite the fact that they use your porch for storage of planks. Picture included.
Do not trust any leasing office staff member with questions about this apartment when you move in, they will mislead you and tell you anything you want to hear. However I know they’re paid minimum wage and are expected to do way too much for that wage.
Last thing I will highlight (however not the last thing to say) is that like many greedy apartment managers, every time your lease ends or renews your lease goes up the maximum they’re allowed to charge. Normally this would make you eligible for Mandatory Relocation Assistance, but they’re in Washington co. They don’t let you move into the same size apartment, only upgrade.
In all it’s a beautiful property they were lucky enough to buy, but their policies will have their minimum wage staff outside in the rain with clipboards so they can charge people for an unsanctioned flower pot.

Not close for where I wanted to be. But seem really affordable and well kept.

After directly dealing with Tandem Property Management, it's evident why the reviews are predominantly negative. Rachel, your condescending patronizing demeanor is unlike any I've encountered in a professional setting. Tandem exemplifies a property management company solely focused on extracting application fees and money, disregarding customer satisfaction. It's truly embarrassing.

Management is unqualified and all of them struggle from over inflated egos and treat everyone around them like they are less than. Their properties are all safety hazards covered in mold and trash. They will use and abuse their employees and then discard them for no other reason but personal dislike instead of judging off of how well of a job is done. Tanya is a higher up in the company (not sure of her exact title) and will tell managers to pretend that they will hire someone just to get good work done for a certain point then drop them. That is manipulation. Employees they do keep sit on Snapchat all day, sleep in units, and have even ODd on property but won’t hire a good sober worker because of “a tattoo.” Oh and let me add that the same maintenance guy that they are trying to level up in the company also has a criminal record which includes assaulting women. Tandem is “image” based and their company is crumbling because of it and the image isn’t even keeping up on a couple of the properties anyway. Womp womp. These properties are on the cheaper side for a reason and if you are a temp or even just applying avoid it and save yourself some self respect and work somewhere else.

if I could give zero stars I would. The management at Commons Sylvan Highlands Apartments sucks I lived there for one year moved in to an apartment with two month old carpet and at the end of my lease they lied and charged me $700 to replace the entire carpet also lied and charged me cleaning fees and turned me into collections the moment I told him I would be fighting the bogus charges. The parking there is absolutely atrocious my car was not only broken into but has dozens of dings and dents from the absolutely horrible parking. By far the worst place I have ever lived. The manager Scott is a lying piece of garbage I wouldn't move there if it was the last place on earth.
