The Hobby Smith is a model train shop specializing in HO, N, and Z scales. It offers a large and amazing selection of trains, accessories, and very extensive scenery materials at good and fair prices. The store is cozy but not cluttered, featuring an N scale layout for viewing on weekends. The staff and owner are super kind, helpful, very professional, very knowledgeable, and very personable. Being open Sundays is a noted convenience. The shop has inspired customers and is considered an absolute jewel and a favorite, well worth a drive.
I had come in looking for a fairly specific O gauge commuter car…although I didn’t find that one. I did leave with a couple others and some track! They seem to have the best price on track around. I’ll be back!
