I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time with selling clothes when it seems luck of the draw with who the buyer is. 2nd Street is around the corner and always delivers with a much friendlier attitude.

When I left here a couple of days ago I thought, "Wow, what an incredible experience!" I went with my daughter and was dreading what I thought would be a daunting and wasteful trip only because I haven't had the best luck looking for clothing and shoes for her at thrift stores. To my delight and surprise, Erzsi made our experience fun and memorable. She was knowledgeable and helpful in every way you would hope a retail employee could be. My daughter felt beautiful and excited as we walked out and had a smile on her face for hours. I would highly recommend going to this location and I will definitely be back!

If you are looking for second hand forever 21 “I like tacos” shirts then this is the place for you! I tried selling with them and some lady came over and hardly looked at my items before calling it quits… usually have luck here but I’m finding it’s becoming more like Plato’s closet :/

Used to be the best Buffalo I’ve ever been to but they keep hiring the worst buyers and now the ugliest stuff is for sale not to mention their plus size section used to be one of the best but now it’s next to nothing which is very upsetting especially when myself and other plus size friends bring in lots of cute/new plus size stuff all the time yet they won’t take it? But they will take 3 different galaxy print cat skirts that look like 2010 threw up? (And not in a good way) just very disappointing.

If i could rate them a zero, I would. These judge-y AF people basically steal. Now, Ive worked in a lot of retail, including buy/sell/trade and consignment situations, so I really do understand what goes into it. While, personally, I believe 25% cash (or 50% if in store credit - which seems fair) is a bit low, i firmly respect a stores ability to name their number and understand that process. However, I recently brought in a larger amount of clothing as a "hail mary" to see if I could make some cash before donating the rest. I had a rather rude interaction while asking if I should bring it all inside, i had a decent yet very uninformed interaction while setting up an account (long time shopper, first timer trader), and then had an almost non-existent, completely dismissive interaction when coming back to pick up unwanted items and cash. I brought in over 10 storage bins of items. I was paid $8 dollars. I brought, what i assumed was all those bins back outside, and assumed they had taken a few (up to ten, maybe?) things, and given the rest back. A bummer? Yes. But they get to decide. It wasnt until later in the evening i looked back. I was down three storage bin/totes. Buffalo exchange had taken 3 large plastic storage bins worth of things, plus the bins themselves, and paid me $8 dollars. Hoping if they didnt speak to me and made me feel in a rush and in the way that i wouldn't notice. And it worked! Everyone is rude. They are basically thieves. And the merchandise on the floor is never good enough for me to justify or tolerate being treated this way. Maybe Ill go back, find the items, do some math, and we'll see what that 25% should have looked like. Not to mention the storage bins. Those were just plain mine. Way to take advantage. Way to be too cool to be operate under any kindness or decency. News flash, youre a hipster in a hipster world (not even the good kind), and your parents still aren't proud of you.

My first time selling clothes to them. Everyone was friendly, they explained the process and after understanding what clothing and fashions they are looking for, I felt they were fair in what they offered.

I reviewed their website for selling clothing and I brought in 6 bags of clothing for sale of the 6 bags they only bought 2 pieces I was disappointed based on their website they buy things out of season and Vintage so I brought things that were a little bit older. They had one person running the cash register while other staff look to be available, not sure if I'll be back.

They have quality items for good prices. The employees are very friendly. But unfortunately like any thrift stores, lacks good selection for mens clothing!

I used to shop here on occasion, but won't be going anymore. The manager, Christina, profiled my friend to make sure they were shopping the "right" clothes for their gendered appearance. Trans people shop at clothing places based on word of mouth because we don't want to feel unsafe while we are dealing with dysphoria. As a trans person, with the anti-trans political climate in this country rapidly getting more dangerous, I will only go into businesses that make me feel safe and it seems like Buffalo exchange is not safe for trans people. At least not while Christina is working there.

Loved this location as well as the one further west of this location and in Nashville TN. Great place to find fashionable and neat finds at a bargain.

Excellent music, quite loud, lovely clerk; There were books as well. Thank you for a remarkably pretty copy of "Miss Lonelyhearts and the Day of the Locust".

This bookstore recently reopened for the first time in years, with the kindest man working front desk and a treasure trove of books to choose from. They’re working so hard to get the ball rolling, figuring out a new books exchange system and looking for zines to add to their collection. I highly recommend this place - it’s one-of-a-kind and serves a worthy cause. There is inventory here that you will find nowhere else.

So pleasantly surprised to find books on a very niche topic, and I found TWO! My excitement can’t be contained. Also, the clerk mentioned they invite people to lecture on their interests—I’m quite impressed at a store promoting community involvement and learning like that. Well done, well done!
