Three Sisters Nixtamal is a fantastic small local business and an asset to the community. It provides amazingly fresh, high quality, and authentic masa, tortillas, sopes, pozole, and dried chiles. The product is awesome, made with minimal ingredients, and the customer service is friendly and personal. The smell of the fresh nixtamalized corn masa is unlike anything else. It is a great spot for cooks and foodies, and definitely worth the trip.
A staple go to at the Portland Farmers Market at Portland State University! Nixtamalized corn Three Sisters Grits are scrumptious. They are velvety smooth, definitely try them all. Blue Hominy Grits from Dried Tamales Masa Stone- Ground Corn are chef’s kiss. All of the Tortillas and Tortilla Chips are glorious.
