I love TJ, it's a perfect solution for a single person or a 2 person couple. Lots of organic choices and most items cost less than the same items at any other grocery store. Now if your a 3 or more person family you might consider shopping somewhere where you buy all the different ingredients and make a meal simple as a cost preventive measure.

Great local grocery for healthy, organic choices. Carry their own brand which often has speciality items based on the season. Lots of frozen dishes to choose from. Good prepackaged meat and chicken and many breads and bakery options..
Produce Dept has really improved; fresh corn and other produce when in season, like delicious Hermiston watermelon.
I've gone from doing most of my shopping at Safeway and Fred Meyer to now purchasing 90% of my groceries at Trader Joe's.
Granted, their prices are on the higher side. And they don't carry any of the national brands. Usually they'll have a decent substitute, but not always. For instance, I Iike to use Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage for in my Breakfast Burritos. Trader Joe's does carry unseasoned ground pork. But even with seasoning it's just not the same. So I find myself still needing a few items from the big supermarket.

I never ship at this store, but just happened to go with my boyfriend and I got 2 bouquets of flowers because they were only $4.99. Now I plan on going back.

Great staff and the same viral tik tok products they all have. Years ago i would have given it 4 stars but the parking has gotten so out of control due to the further densifying of Portland. Sometimes even though im very hungry and my fridge is completely empty i just cant emotionally bare to venture into the absolute anarchy of this parking lot. I pray for your soul that you make it out alive.
